      Shogun boost is the worlds strongest boost. Its insanely effective and growells price is ridiculous value. Shhhhh don't tell em. Bargin 🤭😁

      We don’t own SHOGUN. We have a close relationship with Aqualabs, that’s all. In the video we acknowledge the power and performance of Canna Boost Accelerator - it’s a great product! However, more and more growers are starting to struggle when they come to justifying the premium price. The Sumo Boosts are both fantastic alternatives that now outsell Canna’s star pick, offering incredible value for money and top-notch results. We get that switching isn’t for everyone, but when you see the figures it’s hard to argue with them…

    PRICE PRICE PRICE>.. thats all? there pleny of products that are cheaper, what the point of this video? says BATTLE OF THE BOOSTS.. where's the battle? Where's the comparison? Boost is more expensive because of the sugars in has, its a longer process, its worth its price.. this is just a commercial for shogun.. bla bla

  • @snowliferwb

    Canna boost accelerator also adds fermented hops to the accelerator, something about canna boost makes it taste better, smell stronger and extremely healthy with high brix! I've used canna boost since it came out in the early 2000s. I have also grown the same strain of OG deepchunk for a decade. I have done a few crops without canna due to price. I hate not using canna! I can taste and smell the difference!
    Also whatever line you grow, if you use canna boost it will improve the overall quality. True connoisseur quality. Run it with snow storm ultra for Insane results! Does sumo really offer the same product???

    The Mrs loves the pink shimmer off the active boost. Haven’t tried Canna, but have used GH in the past. Very expensive to run but I did find flavour better. Anyway. I was debating giving mills a shot next as the silicone additive is better. Waiting for shogun to drop a quality monosilicic acid that’s affordable vs the current use of the cheaper alternative, potassium silicate.

    The problem I find with comparing boosts is not all boosts are made for the same purpose. Some companies mix there additives in ways that make it impossible to compare without doing a full range compare. That being said I'll take you at your word and try the shogun.

    • @growell
      @growell  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're quite right a thorough comparison would be a side by side of both ranges, but we definitely recommend giving the Shogun a go.

    can either of these products be used as a foliar directly on the flower or does it need to be only on the leaves?

    • @growell
      @growell  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both can be applied as a foliar but we would stick to spraying the leaves and try to avoid spraying the flowers directly.
      Also only foliar just before lights off.

    • @JRgoodnight
      @JRgoodnight 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wouldn't spraying your flower make them mold? I thought leaves were the only way for them to uptake the nutrient via foliar.

      @momentiummonroe1475 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@choppa9577 post back with your results when you pull off? The canna tells you to kind of go crazy with as much as 15 ml per gal. I know this stuff is double the concentration so maybe run 8ml when your really trying to fruit and see if it's at all similar to the canna... defeats the purpose if you have to go full strength to get the same effect as canna on half though.

  • @lucksolive
    @lucksolive 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Muppets. Your only bashing canna cos shogun is pretty much your own product. Your promoting shogun over canna cos the profits on shogun is better for your books

    • @growell
      @growell  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The thing is, you can't really argue with the impartial reviews on our site or the countless number of customers that use one of the Sumo Boost products over Canna Boost Accelerator. For the record, we only recommend what we truly believe in (which includes products from BOTH the Canna and SHOGUN brands). The Sumo pair give you amazing value for money, combining sensational performance, high concentrations/low dilution rates and competitive pricing. Canna Boost Accelerator remains a strong headliner, it’s just now more expensive and therefore less of an option to those growers with tighter purse strings. And to be clear for everyone reading this, we don’t own SHOGUN or Aqualabs - but we do love 'em!

    • @growell

      Canna Boost has organic elements in its ingredients, so we'd recommend getting a fresh bottle every 12 months. So yeah 3 years, your Canna Boost is probably past it.

    Its it just like adding molasses ?

    • @growell
      @growell  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Neither SHOGUN Sumo Boost or Canna Boost are like molasses. They are both triacontanol based, a bio stimulant which enhances flowering response and nutrient uptake. Using them along side molasses would actually help the plants absorb the sugars from molasses.

    Shogun boost is like some alien liquid makes your buds fat, stinky, sticky and top shelf in a matter of days. First time i used it few years ago i saw a surge in trichomes withing 24 hours bare in mind i was on week 2 of flower. I also like the versatility of Sumo boost as you can also use it as a foliar feed on certain weeks during flower for an extra extra boost. 🌹😇😁😎

    I have used canna boost accelerator the yield was no different, but the taste and smell are 100% affected (good) I am willing to give Shogun a try as I do think Canna is a bit pricey.
    here is what I have found over the 28 years of growing. The BOOST companies make and what ever numbers they added to the end of NPK are just snake oil and are on the shelf next to the base nutrients just to take you're money from you, growers will pay extortionate prices for magic potions and companies that make the stuff know it, if you want to give them a boost give them a little more base nutrients it's the same stuff you are adding anyway phosphorus and potassium, if you are pushing the plants to the maximum with bloom the boost will burn them I have never found an increase in yield using it save some money.
    some things I find help
    House and garden roots excelurator it protects the roots like no other and roots are as fat as your fingers it's noticeable compared to when not used.
    Growth Techology's Nitrozyme use it as a foliar feed if plants look a bit yellow new growth is lush and green use it few weeks before and after taking cuttings you will see far more growing shoots for the taking the next time, again bit pricey but worth it.
    I use Canna aqua these days in E/F = no messing about with the P.H
    totally underestimated nutrients are Growth Technology 1 part bang for the buck it's just as good as nutrients costing far more it's simple for the novice grower
    I will give Shogun a go next and report back my findings.

      @Spectacular Spectacular and you are the very person these companies target with magical concoctions, yield is only going to be as good as the missing link, think of the process of photosynthesis as a chain you can push the plant as much as you like if one link is not as strong as the others it will fail, e.g the best thing to increase yields is adding C02 30-50% growth rates in some species of plants have been observed, but only if all of the other factors are optimal water temp EC/PH / PPM ect if they are not all optimal for an example if you take the light away see what, a total waste of money everything else is, Light is the most crucial part of photosynthesis light is the real food or calories everything else just helps it grow you can add all the magic to the soil you like it will do nothing, unless you want to argue with science? Will boost give bigger yields? Under what conditions and how noticeable are they 10 20 50% more or so small you can't really tell?
