7.1 l/100 km is not bad taking into account that you started with 1/4 and ended with 3/4 of the battery, it was cold and you used heating, road was very slippery. I'm curious how other hybrids handle low temperatures. I drove this car 200 km during 24h test drive (mainly highways) and my fuel consumption was 6,6 l/100 km in rain and about 3°C.
I've just tester hybrid version of Captur, and I had like 6 liters of average fuel consumption in same conditions but with much better weather. That's why now I can tell that 7l in Austral is not that bad result at all :D
All engines sound noisy with bonnet open! Sounds refined out on the road! 👍
All are noisy, but that specific sound is kinda weird. It is not running smooth
is it noisy at 130 km/h, or is it good isolated? wind etc?
For me, 120 was maximum speed for comfortable drive. I thought it will be better isolated...
Hello. Since Renault's new car is scheduled to be released in Korea soon, I am looking at test drives of similar Renault vehicles.
24:06 / 24:26
At this point, the vehicle passing on the right does not appear in the cluster,
25:48
but at this point, the vehicle passing on the right appears in the cluster. When, and why does it appear and not appear? Could it be because I activated the adaptive cruise control?
For both cases I was driving with cruise-control turned off so that's not the problem. IMO first two cars was invisible for radar because it was while driving on right-turn and center of my car was aiming into "empty space". But it might be just a software problem of Renault and its technology 😉Check my night-test of that Austral, you can see that in the night it has a lot more problems with identifying other vehicles on the road.
Engine sound at 3:27 is awful, there might be a problem there.
There is no problem, it's a brand new car. Check other videos of it and unfortunately it sounds like that 🤔🙄
@@PureDrivingExperience That is not the sound of a healthy engine! I know is new and a 3 cilinder.....but that sound ia not right!
I was a little bit worried, that this particular car has some isues but later I checked other videos of it, and all work the same. Check full review of that car by @SDADanCars for example, it sounds the same
@@PureDrivingExperience I've seen several online threads/topics on this. For some it has been solved. REASON: 300 ~ 500 ml engine oil TOO much. Check dipstick....remove oil to correct level of oil. Sounds like BS .... but it seems that more people have had it.
Well done man!
Thanks ☺️
