Zentrales Thema der Arbeiten von Iris Dittler ist der Körper im Raum. Ein Körper der tanzt, gleitet, gleißt, sich bewegt als wäre er unter Wasser. Die Grenzen verschwimmen. Nicht nur zwischen Außen und Innen. Auch zwischen den Ebenen von Zuständigkeiten: Da ist die Choreografin als
Zeichnerin, als Tänzerin präsent, da wird der Körper zum Mudra - zum meditativen Zeichen - und steht im selben Moment doch für sich selbst.
Im Fokus der Ausstellung steht die Performance "SKINS (..these internal microphones; these external antennae)", die Tanz, Klänge und visuelle Gestaltungselemente verbindet. Sie ist vor dem Hintergrund einer Auseinandersetzung mit der Geschichte der Medizin, der Entwicklung von
medizinischen Instrumenten und Diagnosetechnologien konzipiert.

The central theme of Iris Dittler's works is the body in space. A body that dances, glides, glistens, moves as if it were under water. The boundaries become blurred. Not only between outside and inside. Also between the levels of responsibility: The choreographer is present as a draughtswoman, as a dancer, the body becomes a mudra - a meditative sign - and yet at the same time stands for itself.
The exhibition focuses on the performance "SKINS (...these internal microphones; these external antennae)", which combines dance, sounds and visual design elements. It is conceived against the backdrop of an examination of the history of medicine, the development of medical instruments and diagnostic technologies.
