@ttqpdb Tell me anything you think is good about her mechanics. Looks like she picked up a lot of bad habits as a young pitcher and no one has ever corrected them. Nice she had an ex-MLB player as a coach in HS, but just telling pitchers to throw hard and challenge hitters isn't helping either. It's actually amazing she gets as much on the ball as she does. Makes you wonder what she could do if she straightened out her stride and actually turned her hips and shoulders instead of staying almost perfectly square to the plate.
one thing that extremely irritated me was georgia clearly wasn’t thinking in the box against hightower. EVERYTIME it was an 0-2 count, i knew she was going to throw a changeup; yet it seemed as if georgia didn’t know. it the changeup was a ball, i knew it was gonna be something inside. after that, another changeup. cmon.

hightowers mechanics are horrifically bad. Strangely, Avant's aren't great either.
