Great video! Got my Extra Fly Ken a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE him (and his many accessories, esp. the bag). You need to brush the product out of his hair, but then it's perfectly smooth and lays well. I was shocked to see actual fabric clothes and painted footwear details on a playline Ken, lol. Also, it's a new sculpt (dated 2022). Hope rooted hair and nice outfits are Mattel's direction for playline Ken moving forward...🤞🏾
You lay on a boogie board, so the tether is for the wrist, not the ankle... and the luggage tag is a starfish. Great review, sorry he's rooted! Those sandals are rad!

Me too! I get very excited when Kens have rooted hair. I bought 3 of the long haired surfer guy and have put one on a MTM body and one on the Dreamtopia Merman Ken body from a few years ago- he looks great.

12:53 Boogie Board leashes don't go on ankles. They go on wrists. you never ever stand on Boogie Boards. You ride them touching your chest...unless you're really tiny, like 2 feet tall on a normal board.

LOVING your Barbie T-shirt so much!!!!! 🤩😍🤩What a great Ken 'Extra Fly' set! Love his clothes!!! Remember Kenzo from the 80's? His outfit reminds me of that! (Though, yes, it didn't need that border trim.) And yes, you could break it up. His hair is soooo gelled that it almost looks molded! LOL ... I don't get why people don't like Velcro as it's not necessarily a 'modern' thing as I have some very fitted and tailored vests and jeans for the UK fashion doll Sindy from the 70's that actually uses Velcro fastenings really well. I also love the realistic 'holding' hands on that other 'Hunter' guy as he looks great holding the bag and stuff. And I loving that Pina Colada!!!!! (That outfit perfectly fits the 80's 'Gino-goes-to-Miami' aesthetic of that Max Steele! ... I DID stay till the end, but I admittedly had to fast forward through some bits as it's really late here and I have to work early tomorrow morning! LOL 😜)
Aweome review 👏. Your insignt on this Ken was on point. I really liked his outfit. I agree with you about the velcro. I prefer Ken with molded on hair or even bald. Hunter looked so good in that pink & green two piece ensemble. Max Steel also looked great. U should definitely get another Barbie Extra Fly Ken doll. Think of the possibilities.

You’re shopping/looking at the wrong places! There’s tons of stores/sites that don’t have crop tops. Do some more hunting ❤

Yes, watched till the conclusion! Those sandals, that face and the hair colours are the top 3 things that make this dude a must-have for me. Love everything else about him too, though. Very cool seeing all the body comparisons and try-ons here as well! Curious what plan you're ultimately going with for his head.
I was surprised to see all the accessories. I guess they had more budget because the pets are gone. I had kind of tapered off the Extra dolls, but this new wave for $5 less in Canada than the previous ones is really tempting. I wonder if they will go on sale like the previous ones.

That ken sculpt was originally put out as Blaine (in Generation Girl). Interesting sculpt in that some look good and some don't. I don't like it on the surfer boy (long blonde hair) but do like it on a brown rooted hair Fashionista Ken that I got and rebodied.

I bought 3 of him. His outfit will go to a curvy gyrl if it fit. Will upcycle one too. Maybe make a skirt from the shorts.
You can fold the ribbon edge of the shorts under. Either glue or hem. I'll probably cut mine off. Painting those sandals too.

Way Too Cool to have in any Collection! Have Ken Extra Flying in on Saturday! His outfit pattern is -epic- where can I find it? -awesome- ! Love all of this one !!! Agree on the hair, it'll need some very serious Dippity-Doo when that hair is released or egg-white stiffened to hold it down. Totally Miami Fountainbleu! The wave edge on the clothes clashes with the Cabana pattern. A plain, pastel pink would have been fine or the mint off the pattern colours. LOVE him! thank You for sharing Jason!
