Surprisingly Apollo 440 has two sides. The commercial hits that everybody knew (Krupa, Lost in Space...) and the almost unknown and forgotten side with decent tracks like this. I personally bought Millennium Fever years after its release (way after "Electro Glide..." and "Getting' High..." ) and was amazed the quality the band had since the beginning.
The first single I ever bought, shortly followed by "Selling Jesus" by Skunk Anansie - think I got off to a pretty good start. I still think "a god-shaped hole in a god-shaped land" is one of the best lyrics ever.
Who are the band members here? I think it's: Noko - Vocals, Guitar Kenny Cougar - Bass Trevor Grey - Keys Cliff Hewitt - Drums Or is James Gardner to be seen in this video, too? And is it maybe Paul Kodish on Drums or anyone else?
AFAIK Kodish joined later, around the Getting High... album. IMO that was best lineup of the band. The two drummers destroyed the stage every time I saw them.
@@MinekEzQM Yeah you're right. There is not so much information about all the band members and line-ups. Though they were so great. Sad that there is no new album since 2011/2012.
trojanband- thats right liverpool bands great!!! the drummer on the right is cliff hewitt=MY UNCLE!!! SO PROUD! check out his work with schiller (german band) they are fantastic though :))
Везде говорится что за основу Astral America взят сэмпл группы Emerson Lake and Palmer. Но не говорится из какого трека. Кто нибудь знает? Подскажите плиииз
There is way too much PVC in this video *goes cross-eyed* I'm still on the look out for the 'Slam Dunk mix', and as I do not have the cash to splash out on the Japanese 3" single I'd be very interested to see how it differs from the original.
I just seen this comment and had a search here on YT. There's a "Super Dunk Mix" uploaded in 2020. I hope you have found it. Music is the same to my ears. Lyrics is different (no JFK).
been looking for this for close to 30 years! finally found it
I text you from 2023 - it still cooln'n'hot as hell))
90's banger!
Oh gosh... This is so outstanding!
This is one hell of a tune! Millennium Fever is a great album. Liquid Cool is one of my top 5 tunes of all time.

"America" из West Side Story я так понимаю...
I wonder what country are they singing about...? :P (bad sarcasm)
I think Rammstein has an answer for you. :)

@@MinekEzQM funny you should mention that, cause I eventually managed to hunt down a copy and it's my video you're referring to. ;)
Nice clothes
Nigd mie depcze po fladze bo jest Polska
Dlatego jestem katolikiem więc obowiązki mam Polskie
To me this is definitely one of their weaker songs.
Definitely! Still good though!
I'd say it was one of their better ones
It fits in the album concept very well... I love how Rumble/Spirit of America hints the motifs of this song at the beginning.
