"Verify once again." A phrase he overused too often. I got a call from one scammer claiming he's from the IRS telling me I'm $3,900 in debt. So asked him "Can you verify me my Social Security number once again?" I asked him this about 10 times and he failed every time. LOL
Please dont judge a country just because of an idiot scammer.even we hate such scammers and the reason why most of scammers are indians is india is 2 most population country and it has highest number of english speaking people, yes even more than USA.so every country has bad people.they call u bcz they are from a foreign COUNTRY and cant caught by ur police.applying the same logic even we get such scam calls but not from inda, from other foreign guys.so please dont judge a country or people by just an idiot individual.if some indian scams people would u say all indians are bad,if the indain is men would u say all men are bad,if the scammer is a human would u say all humans are bad?PEACE! I HOPE I DONT RECIEVE HATE!
Most of those scammers DO HAVE A SCRIPT they follow! You don't think they're smart enough to do all that off the top of their head, do you?! Often, you can TELL they're reading from something written!
When he asks to verify the house number tell him you need to go outside and check . Wait 10 minutes , pick up the phone and tell him you cant verify , the number fell off .
Good post, well trolled. But it's all fun and games till that bastard calls a genuinely vulnerable/elderly person. It's just *shocking* how pushy and plain rude these types are, getting angry at the person being scammed for not understanding their instructions... or commands more like. WTF? It's surreal.
Classic! I love keeping these twats in the line as long as I can, my record is 46 mins, plus the 15 mins of abuse when he figured out I was playing him 😂
That's pretty good! I don't have the patience or the stamina to toy with them for very long. When they start using nasty words, BANG! I slam down the receiver! Once, I blew a referee-type whistle into the phone and hung up! But you don't really want to tempt revenge, after all, they are criminals and who knows where they'll stop if they get angry! So don't do the whistle thing! Just hang up, or if you can, put them on hold and hang up!
When scammers call, I tell them to hold on a min. then I go about my business, then after a while I hear them saying hello, hello, ........, so I come back and tell them to hang on one more min., they get tired of hanging on and then hang up, lol One day a man called, and as I was saying please hold, he started pleading with me to not let him have to hold on. Poor guy, I felt sorry for him, but had hold on anyway.
I would have told him that I had about 5, or more, different bank accounts, each with their own Visa card, so it would be easier for "Mark" to tell you the fabled number they already had so you could find the right account that way 😸
I used to have this problem with one of Canada's major banks. I had a student loan & I fell behind in my payments. They used to call my house & ask to speak with me. When I got on the line they would say that they were calling me about a banking matter. Then, they asked ME to confirm my address and DOB. When I asked why, they said that they had to confirm who I was before they could discuss my bank account with me. It was for my own good - they were just protecting my account from fraud.
A nuisance call to stop nuisance calls ...... ha ha .... now I've heard it all ...... The real horrible thing is, they must succeed in a percentage of cases ... the B-----DS
Reminds me of the old lady in that old Alec Guinness comedy that came out in the 50s called The Ladykillers. Really funny. Can't write stuff like yours.
The scammer claims they will then take "legal access" against the marketing company What the scammer actually says is, " His company will take action on behalf of the marketing company, 'Against' the old lady being scammed!
I can't think of a reason to fake this situation because I know what happens for real every freaking day. But who is that stupid to stay on the phone and not figure it out?
These crooks are up to anything. They always get excited when they hear an old person on the other end which obviously makes it more easy for them to scam with these newer scams.
Agreed! Unfortunately the elderly are often victims of scammers, because they often are not computer literate or even used to telephone scamming, plus, they often don't think and react as fast, and scammers will pick up on that in a heartbeat and use it against them in any way they can!
this had me in fits of laughter! i have been researching these calls as i got one telling me i have a virus on my pc and if i can turn it on so they can get rid of them for me. i smelt a scam! but it seems you get so many calls for different scams!
@ 9:12...after you say that the card number is in your purse, it sounds like you're opening a velcro wallet. Please tell me you have a velcro wallet. Or just lie to me that that's what you were opening...
That part was so funny because the scammer thought for sure he had an elderly person, who kept ending every sentence with "dear" in a grandmotherly way! That is their favorite type of person to scam!
The weird and wonderfully awesome power of the recorded line which means that you are compelled to answer all his questions regardless of the fact he will use that information to Rob you blind because it's the law. Even though he's some poxy theiving git pretending to offer some kind of bonus and unwanted service.
This scam rang me last week, the Indian on the phone was insistent that I give her the expiration date of my card to the point she was becoming extremely impatient, and kept insisting "ma'am please give me the expiry date, I will hold" i told her my husband had just passed away (he died in May) however she didn't give a flying fuck she just kept saying "ma'am I understand but I NEED your expiry date, I will wait". I said I'm not interested and hung up, two seconds later she rang me back and said "Its very important you give me the expiry date, get your card now, I will wait" Now normally I would have played but wasn't in the mood I said "look, I am not fucking interested" Then she hung up. I knew what was coming tho after getting the information she will then have carried on asking for other numbers on my card. These people have no heart I really hope they phone me back tho (insert evil laugh here____________) cos I'm gonna have some fun :)
There are many "call center" businesses in India. It is a big industry there since many companies outsource their calls there. And the kind of scam like the above is very prevalent, it happens all the time. Take a lesson from the above video and do the very same thing as this "old lady" did (if you have the time to play that game!) They'll end up hanging up in frustration. Or, just hang up in the first place. But they often target senior citizens because they are the easiest "bait." NEVER GIVE YOUR CARD NUMBER TO ANYONE on the telephone UNLESS YOU have initiated the call! These phone scammers use "spoofing" techniques to hide their number so even if you have a Telephone ID screen on your phone, it won't see a real number so you can't report it and if you try, it is a complicated, long international procedure so most of them think they are safe in that regard. What they are doing is fraudulent, so JUST HANG UP -- is the safest way to deal with scammers.
Right on, not only did you get him frustrated but you wasted his time and gave him less of a chance to scam someone else. Two thumbs up for that one
I loved the bit about the "Bus Pass". I laughed so hard i grunted like a pig. Priceless
As I did when they said their bank was "Williams & Glyn"
"Verify once again." A phrase he overused too often.

Great work making that scammer's life hell. These are the types I deal with at work that wanna mess with other people's accounts.
Mrs Doubtfire returns to teach scammers a lesson lol :-)
I know this is an old video but I have just come accross it. It was so funny hearing you string the scammer a long so much.
Mrs. Doubtfire strikes back!

this was extremely funny. nice job Mrs Daye.
I am still watching in 2019, this one is my favourite call of all :)
This was so well done that it almost seems scripted! He totally fell for the act...hook, line and sinker.
Most of those scammers DO HAVE A SCRIPT they follow! You don't think they're smart enough to do all that off the top of their head, do you?! Often, you can TELL they're reading from something written!
Dam scammers. Disgusting. Nice job Mrs. Daye.
reminds me of mrs.doubtfire lol nice old lady voice
He muttered " chutiya" at the end of the call , a Hindi cuss word.
Mark really is a sweet summer child..!
Just demonstrates how evil they are. You have to wonder how somebody could grow to be that cruel...
Dame Edna Everage! LOL!! Thank you for making me laugh!!!
"So you want my bus pass dear" absolute classic!!!!!!!!
Best old lady imitation since Monty Python!

"Have you got your pencil and paper poised?" I lost it. XD
That was funny! I caught a couple of other very foreign phrases or words that were a big tip-off!
This is so funny. Sounds like Eric Idle on Monty Python 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Great laugh 👍👍
Brilliant. Had this same scammer on yesterday here in the uk, I strung him along for 30 min until he hung up on me. wish I had recorded it as well.
Whenever you did the "oh!" i giggled
12:06. "4444-4444-4444-4444"! That's hilarious! XD
We are now up to 30 scammers who disliked this video. I hope that MARK has an enormous phone bill.
Well done - great work!
LMAO!A genuine 80 yr old might really have this problem with reading the card number, yet be sharp enough to know what "verify" means.
this reminds a little bit of Mrs Doubtfire haha
That´s so funny.Laughing so hard here.Brillant Performance.Keep it up.
Love...love...love you Mrs. Daye!!!!!
"I can't verify it if you don't have it..." - strangle the little bugger with semantics !
Good on you Mrs Daye! Thanks for sharing!

Good one
Chutiya doesn't mean stupid. It means f***ing.
This made my day, extremely funny. Nice voice!
Best acting I've ever heard. Coulda fooled me. Scammed the scammer perfectly.
When scammers call, I tell them to hold on a min. then I go about my business, then after a while I hear them saying hello, hello, ........, so I come back and tell them to hang on one more min., they get tired of hanging on and then hang up, lol

As a scambaiter, I approve this video.

I like her! ❤️
Excellent 👍😀👍

I choked on my Coke when you started going 4 4444444444444444...bwahahahahahhha
"Will take necessary legal access" my word that sounds officious, must be genuine!.
I guess the scammer didn't have his paper and pen poised correctly. Oh dear me...!
These crooks are up to anything. They always get excited when they hear an old person on the other end which obviously makes it more easy for them to scam with these newer scams.
