A better way is grab both loose ends and make a bite do a figure 8 and it won't have any tangles

if you alternate the sides you grab from itll end up not twisted and able to be tossed without tangling. it looks like a normal look followed by the grab you depicted. iatsi til i die

I do them like this too but I have one that just flat out refuses to look nice. I think the outer insulation is thinner than others and insides are twisted.
