Is that the same cake roll or did you just move it around to bury the large crack that you covered with the towel at the 3:09 mark? After you reroofed it after the filling you either did very good at hiding the cracks or it’s a different cake roll. Which did you do?

I enjoy the recipes but what is the idea behind greasing the pan AND using a baking sheet ? If I want my paper to stay put while filling the pan I just splash some water on the pan and the paper sticks like glued.

U should. Wet a little 2 kitchen Towles. And then put the cake between them and give it few minutes. And roll it. Inside the towels then take the towels. Off and do what u want with it. It works all the time for me. Try it its really helpful

I followed the exact ingredients 8 ounce mascarpone cheese, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp vanilla extract and it says to mix till fluffy but it turned like an oatmeal or porridge. something wrong.
+Josephine Jubilo hmm.. did you use it at room temperature? maybe you over mixed? not sure why it turned like this for you.. also.. did you mix it with whipped cream as well?
Hi thanks for the reply. I used cold mascarpone cheese :(. So therefore i should not also over mixed it. My whipped cream was OK but since my mascarpone cheese didn't turn well i mixed it to my whipped cream as it might could help to turn to fluffy but it didnt turn good. Well im going to try it again next time. While my cake was perfectly good.... only my mistake was my filling wherein i used cold mascarpone cheese. I have one question...would it be ok if i will use other baking tray size bigger than 12x16 inch? Would it be affected in rolling the cake let say 17x11 inch coz it might be very thinly the cake or it doesn't matter?
