Back in 1971,I was a student in Zambia when we used to listen to such lovely songs over Radio RSA on SW! Would also pick up Springbok radio from time to time in the late evenings on my AIWA Cassette RADIO RECORDER with my whip antennae attached to an outdoor wire aerial!

Oh dear what memories - suddenly I´m a teenager again in Salisbury listening to this on my supersonic radio in my bedroom! Where have all those years flown to? Thanks for such lovely moments of pure nostalgia!

I love this song, the first time I heard it I was on the road from Bakersfield to Fresno. No one on the road but me and this song. And the poster below is correct, it is so beautiful in French.......What great memories with this song..:)

I was a young NCO stationed in Thailand when I heard this song and it stuck in my head all of these years. That was over 40 years ago!

This is an excellent find! I had no idea this English version existed. I have the other English version on MP3, have had it for years and never knew there was a different one. Wow.... thanks so much for posting this.

Takes me back to days when I was still so young. This song reminds me of by dad and I taking my mum to church. I remember we then parked under the huge tree at the VCFA Hall, Umhlali. Best days
