    Dear Paul I live in Istanbul. Naturally, my mother tongue is Turkish. My English level is upper intermediate. I have been trying to learn Spanish through social media and especially on TH-cam for about 3 months. I came across a video of yours 3 days ago and I'm hooked on your channel. As you can imagine, it is not very easy to learn a third language that I have just started using a second language that I am trying to learn, which is not at a very good level. However, the English you speak is so pure and understandable that it both improves my English level and allows me to easily understand the Spanish topics you explain. Thank you very much for all your efforts. I will definitely continue to follow you. Best regards.

If I don’t know the subjunctive, it’s because I don’t want to. You explain most concepts so dang well. Especially that one. I love to write, you give me infinite hope that soon I can do this completely in Spanish.

    Dear @QrooSpanish,
    I don't know how tagging works here on YT as I rarely comment on anything, but I hope you see this.
    I have been with your videos for a year now, and every time I have a doubt, or I need to look into something, you are the first person I search for. The way you explain each concept is the best and in this video in particular I got many of my questions answered that I didn't even expect to get answered.
    I appreciate the time and energy you put into these videos.
    Thank you so much!

    As always, a good lesson. One way I like to work on my Spanish with Paul’s videos is to try to translate his English examples to Spanish in a translator app to see if I come up with the same or similar sentence before I see his sentence in Spanish. When I make a mistake, the correct way gets reinforced with his translation.

    It should be the goal of beginners to learn something challenging and new as I learned Harto de today. I was confused why cambiar was reflexive in the initial sentence. Also I had been using Quitar to quit when it's just remove or take away I guess. Great job at the end with Ponerse because I've been trying to understand the difference in usage between Poner, Hacer and Quedar when taking about becoming something. Anyway well done.

    • @QrooSpanish

      Cambiar was reflexive because cambiarse refers to changing your clothes. I should do a video explaining poner, hacer and quedar with that usage. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to my list.

      It’s not your tongue doing it. It’s the cycle of high pressure blocked air followed by reduced pressure. So it’s the same as learning to whistle. The mouth shape and tongue position are a matter of developing the muscle memory. To do that we have to start by getting it right a couple of times, so move that tongue around trying to find the sweet spot.

    • @anneli1735
      @anneli1735 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m using the r like in “bring” in English (foreign language to me) as in German that sound doesn’t exist. This helping me to practice the rr and from time to time I get it and then I’m losing it again 🙄 you should know that not every hispanohablante is able to do it 😉 so it’s definitely not a “must” especially for foreigners 😂
