People who rag on what the Giants have achieved in only a decade should ponder these charts.

I like how everyone who wins a flag gains members, but then there is Carlton who wins the wooden spoon in 2018 and breaks it membership tally the following in 2019, has now 95k without achieving anything. So if they win a flag, going by the history of other teams they will surpass everyone significantly

Richmond hit 100,000 members in 2017 after finishing 13th in 2016 . That's loyalty. Wet toast includes pet membership and I can understand why , considering the amount of seeing eye dogs needed . Collingwood members get two for ( a two head thing )

Every club records its memberships in the same way. They all try to make them as high as possible. The AFL makes the final recordings of membership levels so take it up with them. The numbers are what they are. West Coast Eagles supporters are the most loyal. Don't hate us for that.

For almost 20 years the Crows had the highest membership. Easy to forget how much excitement there was in SA in the 90s when they joined the comp.
