i noticed in the construction barrels to action that the barrels appeared to be sleeved not mono block ie chopper lump as i thought ALL original B25 browning s were made ? there NOT like the Japanese models that are all sleeved like Miroku etc ! and noticed lots New b25 especially 20 bores are now All sleeved ? and the engraving on NEW" C grade " models with NO carved fences any more that they ALWAYS used to have ? i have seven Original B25 brownings from 1970 s and 1980 s ie D5G . D4G.C3. C2G.B2C ALSO American Midas and finally a early proto type {Original and Sleeved Original ! } number 268 made 1930 / 31 . Now possible cutting costs in production and with sales pricing at 10x more of what i paid originally !more than inflation !
@@finntastic1473 Cant remember. Seem to recall a Robertson or some such name which came as an idea after the over and under from the Manton era flintlock or percussion.

I believe John Robertson of Boss was the first to produce o/u shotguns well before Browning
1909 if memory serves me right.....
There was an even earlier one than that, I think, which opened to the side.
