Acts ch.2 says that all in the crowd heard them speaking in their language. I believe that those in the crowd accused them of being drunk not because if what they were saying but how they were acting. They had to been full of joy and joy isn't just being happy its being " beside yourself your so happy. The believers were probably shouting, jumping, clapping, dancing etc.
Where in that chapter does it say they "spoke" in other languages? The Bible says the crowd "heard" their own language. God is not the author of confusion. If 120 people were all speaking another language at the same time, no one in that crowd would have understood a single thing. Imagine a church service where 10 preachers get up with microphones and all start preaching at the same time in a different language. The crowd wouldn't understand a thing. Now imagine there's 120 preachers. God, please grant the good Baptists an insight into the operation of your Holy Spirit so they come to understand your word more clearly.
exactly!... the people speaking were speaking in unknown tounges.. but the people that were hearing, were hearing "them" (all of them) speaking in each one's own tongue...

enlightenment is a blessing, Jude 2.
Thank you for this message ! 😊

Amen! I chuckled a little because drinking wine doesn’t make sense in comparison to speaking another language you’ve never learned.
Right! The enemy was strong that day!
Thank you very much
