This card packs a lot of bang for your buck. A beautiful example of how gorgeous and impactful (is that a real word?) doesn't have to be flashy or complicated.
Such a classic look! Love the way you used colored cardstock and ink to get such a rich color. Perfect sentiment for this card too! Thanks for sharing your process and for the helpful tips.
I am grateful for you and this video, your tip of starting with colored cardstock is a game changer!! (Although I can't even begin to tell you how dumb I feel for never realizing this! LOL.!) My hand always hurts from ink blending, so now I will be blending less and getting the same results :) You rock Yana! P.S. Thanks for your honest opinion about the foam blending pads, I can't wait to try the Spellbinders ones now :)
Such a beautiful card! I’m really loving the minimalist, simple card designs you’ve been sharing, and would love to keep seeing more! I love that style anyway, but especially as more of a beginner because it gives me ideas to make lovely cards without feeling overwhelmed. Also, I’ve found it so helpful to see all the ways you are using colored cardstock; I was never sure how to really use it other than card bases. You are a real gift to the card making trade Yana; thank you for sharing your talent!
Yana, Thank you for sharing your techniques with us! I was really inspired and I think I will try this myself soon! Thank you again for a very beautiful card.
Beautiful results, Yana. Have you discovered "toothbrush" makeup brushes? (Check the delivery only online big box store. There are sets with multiple sizes as well as sets with just medium sized brushes.) I find that for a softer touch, these are fantastic with less chance of seeing the strokes that I so often get with sponges. Haven't tried them yet with heavy coloration such as your lovely second "green on green" card. Your videos are always so informative. Thank you so much for the effort you put into them :)
Simple yet elegant. My favorite kind of card. Thanks for sharing.
