This is amazing! The interviewer was incredible. I actually watched the entire interview without skipping one bit because it was interesting. Usually, I skip because it’s always the same question but this was something else. Very professional👍🏽🙌🏽
Paul Nash! Wow. I’ve been a life-long student of WWI and also went to art school. I’m aware of Remarque’s novel, Seeger’s poetry and the artists. This film beautifully and hauntingly captured the essence of all that! As Kristy was talking about the inspiration, I thought of one of Nash’s paintings that had flares at night. No wonder this film is so beautiful, structured and of the spirit of the war. Well done.
This is an excellent interview. Thoughtful questions leading to some interesting answers. The only thing marring it is having the (gorgeous 1917 OST) music playing in the background which made it difficult to really concentrate on what they were saying. I want to listen to their answers and background music is a distraction.
