One of my favorite things in my younger days was to go on excursions with a friend on the west coast . Neither one of us was from there . Almost every weekend we would leave the high desert and head down to Los Angeles and the objective was to find our way back . No gps . It was so much fun . We would stop and ask people how to get to the Cajon pass and they would rattle off 5 different freeway numbers that we would forget after going up the first 2 . We didn't do too terribly bad in the daytime with the sun to guide us , yet after sundown our bearings were no existent . No matter where you go , there you are . - Live And Let Ride
Hello brother.. well when anything happens during the ride I just look at it with the attitude that its all part of my adventure ..some rides that are random routes un planned turn out the best.. I am just happy being out in solitude on my 2 wheeled church !!!!!! Life will alway have a twist thrown in so look at it with a smile and remember how lucky you really are cause it can alway be worse .. enjoy every moment !
Only 7 more days. I think I finally found a state I can handle the hill climbs. I was waiting to see you wrestling an alligator, guess I missed, that part! Gaia with a iPad mini gen 5 has always worked for me in the mountains, also have a Garmin zumoXT mounted. Good system for me. Thanks for the video from your utube riding buddy. Good one!
Drive Mode Dashboard 2. Almost five years and over 70,000 miles on it and it hasn't let me down yet. Works for on and off road navigation, GPX files are easy. Conditions are irrelevant.
I watched a video where these people walked/hiked a trail that went through the entire state of Florida. They started in the Everglades, and ended up somewhere close to Panama City area. But a lot of the territory they were hiking through was not navigable even for a motorcycle. Some of it was literally swamp... I wonder if it’s the same “trail” but there are different routes you can take? If it is, i wonder if there is a map that shows these alternate routes...
I’ve had lots of bikes. Even my red and blue bikes have had catastrophic engine failures I have sad stories. :) But. Loving this t7. I believe it’s a good choice My fav bike is still my Ktm 500. It rips!
Hey Brock. Good smiles here as always. Why aren't you using Gaia on a small tablet rather than that Garmin. It's far far better. Thanks for this vid.❤❤
Tell me why it’s better ? Gaia has given me trouble. My Garmin always connects to satellite when no internet. The gpx files were failing me. Not the Garmin. I should tell some stories about this. But I’m always willing to learn.
What no alligator wrestling?? So far I haven’t seen a hill I couldn’t climb. I must be getting better at hill climbs!! I use Gaia on a iPad mini gen 5 with no issues. I have my iPad and Garmin XT mounted and use both when riding. Great video. Plus only 7 more days!! 🤩. PS New bike looks great and it’s you!! You know what I mean Vern. Take care my utube ridding buddy!
I have learned the value of back up with top tier brands. Dual electronic devices with the 2nd having locus maps, dual usb Anker brand charging cubes, spare charging chords and portable battery
Honestly I love them both. T7 has proven to be a great choice. I prefer the longer fuel range of the 890. And cruise control. But the t7 is working well.
Welcome back- I used to lead rides and I used to say "as long as we have gas we are not lost, we are exploring".
Haha. Love it

Turns out it was bad gpx files. Garmin is working great.
Hope you are well rusty. 7 days

Turns out I had bad files. The Garmin is fantastic
Love it! Love it! Loves it! What more needs said?
Praise God thank you Jesus. All things work to the good.
Yes indeed!
Going through a bit of that frustration right now. Thinking positive sure does help! Great air boat ride!!!!
Yes it does! Life is good
Pretty cool. Never thought about going to Florida with the bike. Most of us think out west. Gonna have to check it out!
Yeah. I’m looking for more things in the east to show people.
How you liking the T7 compared to the 890r? Both are my top condenders for an adv bike. Been leaning towards T7 though. Thanks brotha! Love your vids!
"The law of detachment"
Awesome Brock
Thank ya

I haven’t found it
BE careful Brock them Pitt Bulls are Dangerious
They everywhere !!!
Every time I get annoyed, I pause, count my blessings and feel a sense of peace and gratitude for all God has done for me.
Yes. I needed that for sure. That helped me recalibrate
So how are you liking the t7 ? Ride red or blue and you will always make it thru

I agree with Brock- I’ve only seen the Gaia suck battery life and glitch. Zero issues with my Garmin in the back country.
I build routes in GAIA and transfer the routes into my Garmin.

i am watching and wondering if the gpa issues were actually the solar flares….
Bad files. It’s a mess. You will see more of this soon. But trying to be respectful
which Klim jacket is that?
Klim raptor gtx jacket from Slavens racing
