An truly outstanding cavalryman and charismatic leader, to be sure. Stuart has been unfairly criticized for his actions during the Gettysburg campaign. His orders were contradictory and could not possibly have been carried out as written.

Wow!! This Biography was fantastic. I have always wanted to know more details of this great man’s life! Even had he made it to Gettysburg on time it would not have affected the war’s outcome, or even the battle . As it was he luckily had seized/ captured many many ambulances to take there which as it turned out that they were desperately needed.God bless all of these brave men. They handled this matter in their generation! They had the courage , determination, organization, will, and brains with brawn!!❤️If I were I would be hero worshipping these men and their statues!

I like this subject very much. It is endlessly fascinating. The Cavalry Generals were so brave!! I am related to George Armstrong. But I love all of the history that surrounds this war and of those who participated and fought. Over one and a half million horses died in this war!❤️God bless them.

Sometimes it is hard to believe now much carnage was part of that war.

    God Bless General Stuart!
Go Back! Go Back! I'd rather die than be whipped!

The Reader did a very good job on this, not too fast and good enunciation.

I am NOT very knowledgeable about the CW. Did a chain of command go Lee: Jackson: Forrest: Stuart: Mosby? That must be the greatest command chain in history!

Narrator is horrible. It’d be nice to see some different pictures for over an hour.

As the producer of this video I agree with you 100%. This is one of those videos I wanted to delete, but it contains some good information so I decided to leave it up. Just an armature video from a hobbyist. Thanks for your comment. :)

NothingButHistory agreed the information is good. Presentation a bit dry.
