2010, I attended more than a couple Sunday Services at St Georges and truly their choir is amazingly wonderful, although the choristers are different from that above. tear jerking their Communion hymns but splendid singing.
Aw, Mr Gregory was my school music teacher at Richmond Lodge, and he brought me into St-George's to sing the Pie Jesu solo at one of their performances! Good memories.
Wow...that's me second left front row, soprano line back in the day. How lovely to find this recording on you tube. Brings back so many memories and so many faces I had forgotten over the years. Loved the choir under Jonathan Gregory and to think this was all happening at the Ulster Hall in Belfast at the height of The Troubles is amazing really.
This is a most memorable piece of music beset with a well place oboe accompanement
Beautiful music thanks van ben fastenau Middelburg Holland thanks ❤️
The word and Kingdom of God cannot be shaken and stand firm forever.
If _only_ Zarth wrote as simply and _mit_ eloquence ! Overplay? Call it as you will, it is uplifting .. mystical, and rejuvenating.
Oh yes, Cavan, aeternally. That is why we are forever saved and blessed

To have been part of this beautiful performance is a privilege that will remain with you for ever. Thanks
We probably sang together in the choir!
I played the viola, I was just OK, because I would breakdown and cry, during the playing of such Music
Ein wunderbares Stück von J.S. Bach, im deutschen Original "Jesus bleibt meine Freude" hier auf Englisch wunderschön interpretiert. Bravo
Beautifully done!
Quite exquisite.
Their wonderful chorus embodies the aesthetics of Bach
All time favourite
🕊🌻♥️🌈🙋♂️♥️🙋♀️♥️🌈
What kind of breathing technique she used?
nice soprano tone ,no vibrato bellowing.
It is "Yay-su". Not "Jee-zoo".
Can you play ANY instrument and still criticize his playing
"G-Zoo"??? 🤦🏻♂️
Bach to mistrz nastroju i klimaty. Nie ma utworu, który nie jest arcydziełem.
I think oboe loses tempo at some point
I like those phrasings
This is just amazing... The oboe👏👏
