The cutscenes look so much better on console vs PC because of the motion blur, depth of field, and letterbox'd aspect ratio, shame the actual game has been cutback quite a lot graphically.
Huh? The openening cinematic is exactly the same and from then on the PC cutscenes looks better. The aspect ratio is also messed up here, all it's done is stretch the picture horribly.

Looking back at this PS2 version to compare to the remaster ultimate edition. It looks so primitive....so ancient. One thing I liked about the PS2 version is during gameplay you have a lot more to explore such as taking a sight seeing your riding the EL Train or the Cable Car Street Trolley. During the remaster version ...those options is now restricted. Some feel the PS2 version the police was annoying. Today's version they cut down the police heat....which I liked in PS2 version cuz I find fun to out drive the cops or out running them in foot. I really hope when PS6 is ready to be release. A cool feature would be that 6 would back capability every PlayStation game from 1 to 6....if so I would definitely rebuy the PS2 version for my own nostalgia..... 🕹️🤔🎮🕹️🤔🎮🕹️🤔
This game has a problem when it comes to emulating some missions would not load,you need to download a save game from gamefaqs to skip the missions that wont load. Its better to play the game on actual console or get it on PC.

the cutscenes look compressed from the PC version but I think re4 hd on PC did it worse with Ada's "separate ways" even though im a sucker for this type of cutscenes from PS2
