Yes, they dyed their hair only for the cover the previous day and the same day of the presentation. The colors were like this: Red-> had black hair, appeared red the same day as the cover; Gray-> brown, the day before appeared blond and gray the day of the cover; Orange-> had bluish black, appeared blond the day before, orange on d-day; violet-> had red, appeared violet the previous day; Darker-> had light brown

jun said in a recent interview that the a.c.e members really cherish being on stage and don't like to do things ambiguously, "if we're going to do something, we do it properly or not at all" i think this stage really showcases that professional side of them!!! i've never seen the original vixx stage, so the makeup/contacts shocked me at first, but i was smiling throughout the whole performance because the boys did so well. the amount of effort and detail they put into this stage is incredible, i'm really proud of them! ♡
If you haven't seen it before you should totally go see it, it will blow. your. mind how accurately they did everything - that's why every single Starlight on here (including me!) is just blown away by the detail and the holding to Vixx's concept.
Aislin i just watched a few of the vixx stages and you’re completely right! the intro is spot on and a.c.e managed to capture the same intensity, they totally nailed the point dances. also i can’t believe how similar the eye makeup is, just amazing~ i’m glad that starlight are equally as impressed with this performance!!
As a Starlight, I was grinning like an idiot watching this. The look, the sound, the choreography and the feel of the stage is so true to the original VIXX stages and it was just so wonderfully done. Thank you, A.C.E!
These guys are at another level. They reach professionalism, they paid attention to every tiny detail of the performance judging by their clothes and makeup, they even did nail polish. As a starlight, I love to see others covering VIXX, but only a few can do a good job (IMO). But this, this is masterpiece. Everyone can see they put a lot of effort, the didn't half-assed it. They nailed it, and even give their own style and color to this performance. I can say that I feel honored to have them covering my favorite idol of all times. I hope you all the best ACE. S -b t-n yn True. Honestly, covering VIXX isn’t easy. First, VIXX have two main vocalists, so if a group only have one he’ll have to take a big chomp of chorus and high notes which will be tiring. Second, VIXX have really unique choreos, not only they have very creative formations or interacting choreo, but also because their style is sharp AND soft at the same time. I don’t know how to explain but their choreo is not typical Kpop choreo. Perhaps because Hakyeon is modern dance master and they decide to blend some in their choreo 🤔
They captured every little thing so closely that when i first saw their pictures on their main ig acc, i deadass thought i was looking at 100% vixx... Ace didn't just resemble vixx's looks during on and on era, they hands down copy pasted that shit. The dedication level is insane
A.C.E doesn't cover a group because they're "famous" and to just get clout. A.C.E are performers who knows what they are good at and values performances with dedication. Such respect!

I need people to cover something else other than Exo and BTS too. I'm kinda tired of seeing those covers in fact. Would love to see groups cover songs like Bad Girl Good Girl by Miss A, Wild by Nine Muses, Lupin by Kara, The Chaser/BTD by Infinite, A by Rainbow, Again and Again by 2PM, Warrior/Power by BAP etc. Same with cover channels. They only focus on some groups. It's getting hackneyed and boring.

I saw lots of comments from non Choice who are very impressed with their performance. I just want to say , u would never regret if you ever decide to stan A.C.E one day . they are definitely one of the most well rounded kpop idol group that I've ever known. all of them can definitely be main vocalists and main dancers... they are really versatile. they had done variety of top notch vocal covers and dance covers and they never fail to slay no matter what genre those covers are. they can even rock trot songs on stage. they are kings of harmonisations as well .. do check out their title tracks mv's and listen to their B sides tracks from their albums too. other than that they have golden personalities and great camaraderie with each other. you'd definitely going to be amazed at how great live performers they are. Check out their official youtube channel and vlive channel for lots of interesting contents.. They are very active on twitter as well. In conclusion , PLEASE STAN A.C.E .

on and on was honestly beyond it’s time; this era was what popularized the use of colored contacts on stage and as much as the heavy makeup seemed like too much at the time, the uniqueness of the entire concept really helped sky rocket vixx. As a fan of both groups I’m so proud of ACE for putting 110% into the entire cover
I'm sooo proud of A.C.E that I can't stop keep on replaying this performance when it first dropped till now..in fact, proud is an understatement. A.C.E IS KING OF LIVE PERFORMANCE AND STAGE PRESENCE. There's no blackhole in A.C.E. they are 5 main vocalists, 5 main dancers, 5 visuals etc. Their stage presence is off the chart. Look at how they worked the camera while singing live and dancing synchronizedly. Everything is on point!! This is such a flawless performance. I really hope that people would stop sleeping on them now, especially the Korean kpoppers and main media streams.

King's covering legends. Vixx is one of my top five groups and their stages are always intense and hard to replicate. But A.C.E did everything; from the polish to the makeup to the outfits and the performance itself, they showed such professionalism. The freaking respect in this stage is so evident. They only had three days to prepare this but they took every single detail into consideration. This is incredible. As a Starlight, I am so freaking happy and proud of A.C.E. I've been totally out of the kpop world for like the past 2 years because in my opinion good kpop was dying out. I started to listen again recently because I work at a kpop store. I liked Ace because they seemed pretty hardworking and talented but now that they covered my old bias group Vixx I stan the heck out of them. Good way to pull me into the fandom. They did brilliant. AHHH what an honour to perform their song. Everything on point. Can see Ace blowing up!
Agreed! I was actually watching groups from the older generation and man, the quality is not what it used to be. Either that or I'm just too old to get into young groups anymore but imma go with quality lol I've only managed to really get into a couple of new groups in the past 7 or 8 yrs and those couple are in my username lol

I like a couple new-ish groups, obviously A.C.E (my all time favs!). I like SHINee and EXO for guy groups, SNSD & f(x) for girl groups; older groups. A.C.E is the only newer group I love. I think part of the problem is the kpop industry is leaning hard into very obvious American-sounding music lately. They wanna make it in America, & with BTS's current reach, they know it's working. But I miss the uniqueness from American style that kpop use to offer for me.

I think it was intended for them to dress everything accurately to that era, as homage to VIXX. I mean, you can't really dress in normal clothes and makeup for VIXX's music. They were the OG when it came to the dark concepts, and it is their most well known era and looks. When you think of this song, you remember not just the song, but the hair, the makeup, the outfits. It is an iconic era.

We don't see a lot of vixx covers because their performances are hard to cover bcos they not only involving dance moves but also the vibe and facial expressions. Yes, they dyed their hair only for the cover the previous day and the same day of the presentation. The colors were like this:
Red-> had black hair, appeared red the same day as the cover;
Gray-> brown, the day before appeared blond and gray the day of the cover;
Orange-> had bluish black, appeared blond the day before, orange on d-day;
violet-> had red, appeared violet the previous day;
Darker-> had light brown
I wish all groups did this kind of respect.. along with fans respecting the original artists too (especially as seniors)

i think this stage really showcases that professional side of them!!! i've never seen the original vixx stage, so the makeup/contacts shocked me at first, but i was smiling throughout the whole performance because the boys did so well. the amount of effort and detail they put into this stage is incredible, i'm really proud of them! ♡
If you haven't seen it before you should totally go see it, it will blow. your. mind how accurately they did everything - that's why every single Starlight on here (including me!) is just blown away by the detail and the holding to Vixx's concept.
Aislin i just watched a few of the vixx stages and you’re completely right! the intro is spot on and a.c.e managed to capture the same intensity, they totally nailed the point dances. also i can’t believe how similar the eye makeup is, just amazing~ i’m glad that starlight are equally as impressed with this performance!!

As a Starlight, I was grinning like an idiot watching this. The look, the sound, the choreography and the feel of the stage is so true to the original VIXX stages and it was just so wonderfully done. Thank you, A.C.E!

A.C.E said they prepared this cover in 3 days and learned a lot in the process. Also that even tho it was quite burdensome, since Vixx are such good performers, they did their best 🥺 They also thanked the staff who helped them to recreate these looks in such details, and said that it would be amazing if Vixx members watched the stage.🥺

As a starlight, I love to see others covering VIXX, but only a few can do a good job (IMO). But this, this is masterpiece. Everyone can see they put a lot of effort, the didn't half-assed it. S -b t-n yn True. Honestly, covering VIXX isn’t easy. First, VIXX have two main vocalists, so if a group only have one he’ll have to take a big chomp of chorus and high notes which will be tiring. Second, VIXX have really unique choreos, not only they have very creative formations or interacting choreo, but also because their style is sharp AND soft at the same time. I don’t know how to explain but their choreo is not typical Kpop choreo. Perhaps because Hakyeon is modern dance master and they decide to blend some in their choreo 🤔

I saw lots of comments from non Choice who are very impressed with their performance. I just want to say , u would never regret if you ever decide to stan A.C.E one day . they are definitely one of the most well rounded kpop idol group that I've ever known. all of them can definitely be main vocalists and main dancers... they are really versatile. they had done variety of top notch vocal covers and dance covers and they never fail to slay no matter what genre those covers are. they can even rock trot songs on stage. they are kings of harmonisations as well .. do check out their title tracks mv's and listen to their B sides tracks from their albums too. other than that they have golden personalities and great camaraderie with each other. you'd definitely going to be amazed at how great live performers they are. Check out their official youtube channel and vlive channel for lots of interesting contents.. They are very active on twitter as well. In conclusion , PLEASE STAN A.C.E .

Got hi-touch, and people who paid a little more all got signed polaroids of each member, hi-touch, first entry, AND a discount off all merch purchased and that price was about $150? And their company, Beat Interactive! Small record label, female CEO, the company treats them decently, and they lightheartedly troll the A.C.E members a lot! "Official crack videos" are a thing with Beat interactive! And many CHOICEs know you must stan their director/editor, Kang! Also, A.C.E is very connected to their international fans. And they still busk (perform on the street) like they did pre-debut to this day! They recently did a whole bunch of busking on their US tour!

on and on was honestly beyond it’s time; this era was what popularized the use of colored contacts on stage and as much as the heavy makeup seemed like too much at the time, the uniqueness of the entire concept really helped sky rocket vixx. As a fan of both groups I’m so proud of ACE for putting 110% into the entire cover

I'm sooo proud of A.C.E that I can't stop keep on replaying this performance when it first dropped till now..in fact, proud is an understatement. A.C.E IS KING OF LIVE PERFORMANCE AND STAGE PRESENCE. There's no blackhole in A.C.E. they are 5 main vocalists, 5 main dancers, 5 visuals etc. Their stage presence is off the chart. Look at how they worked the camera while singing live and dancing synchronizedly. Everything is on point!! This is such a flawless performance. I really hope that people would stop sleeping on them now, especially the Korean kpoppers and main media streams.

King's covering legends. Vixx is one of my top five groups and their stages are always intense and hard to replicate. But A.C.E did everything; from the polish to the makeup to the outfits and the performance itself, they showed such professionalism. The freaking respect in this stage is so evident. They only had three days to prepare this but they took every single detail into consideration. This is incredible. As a Starlight, I am so freaking happy and proud of A.C.E. Choice should be very proud of their boys. ❤❤

I've been totally out of the kpop world for like the past 2 years because in my opinion good kpop was dying out. I started to listen again recently because I work at a kpop store. I liked Ace because they seemed pretty hardworking and talented but now that they covered my old bias group Vixx I stan the heck out of them. Good way to pull me into the fandom. They did brilliant. AHHH what an honour to perform their song. Everything on point. Can see Ace blowing up!
Agreed! I was actually watching groups from the older generation and man, the quality is not what it used to be. Either that or I'm just too old to get into young groups anymore but imma go with quality lol
I've only managed to really get into a couple of new groups in the past 7 or 8 yrs and those couple are in my username lol

@@yaoibabe I am only 18 but I mostly agree with that statement.. somehow all the newer song structures are so predictable and overdone.. I don't really like the music of any of the popular groups all too much. The only group I always have high expectations for is Loona
@@yaoibabe I must correct myself: There are actually two male groups that have interesting music like Vixx nowadays apart from ACE. Sf9 and The Boyz. They have music I like to listen to and that doesn't taste like ive had it a 100 times before most of the time...
I like a couple new-ish groups, obviously A.C.E (my all time favs!). I like SHINee and EXO for guy groups, SNSD & f(x) for girl groups; older groups. A.C.E is the only newer group I love. I think part of the problem is the kpop industry is leaning hard into very obvious American-sounding music lately. They wanna make it in America, & with BTS's current reach, they know it's working. But I miss the uniqueness from American style that kpop use to offer for me.
Let's be honest my fellow choices, we're still coming back to this and keep rewatching this religiously.

I think it was intended for them to dress everything accurately to that era, as homage to VIXX.
I mean, you can't really dress in normal clothes and makeup for VIXX's music. They were the OG when it came to the dark concepts, and it is their most well known era and looks. When you think of this song, you remember not just the song, but the hair, the makeup, the outfits. It is an iconic era.

From what I have heard, yes the matching white outfits to the same date 7 years prior, was an intentional choice they made.

I haven't listened to K-pop since MBLAQ split up. But when I saw VIXX trending on Twitter I had to see what was goin' down as to me, they are the spiritual successors to MBLAQ.
