I agree with Kim. I'm a transgender woman myself and I would NEVER start a family, get married, and have kids knowing that I was truly meant to be a woman. To this day that whole situation doesn't make sense to me.
He should've made a choice, either have a family and commit to making it work for the long haul, or be a woman.

What year were you born? I ask this because, the world has changed a lot from when Bruce was born, they still imprisoned men whose sexuality was gay back then, let alone what they thought of trans, it was not acceptable at all. Not saying what Bruce did was right, but when the world says you are evil and should be killed, the choices you make to live are not gonna be good. So moral is - let poeple be whoever they want with no stigma and the world will be much easier.
I understand if it was scary for Caitlyn. But after it being the demise of his first marriage I'm surprised he never told Kris. And for all those years.

It was Kris who hustled and negotiated on her behalf and helped Caitlyn have the motivational speaker business. Kris was the one who has been behind her and their kids making millions of dollars off the show and turned them into the multi million dollar Kardashian/Jenner brand they are today. If she was hoarding money I don't blame her when you suffer through financial problems it makes you wiser she was probably putting some money aside for future financial security along with paying their debts off and paying the bills. Since Caitlyn hadn't paid a bill since 1972 I think its safe to say Kris was the financially savy one in that marriage and thanks to her savy business brain Caitlyn reaped the benefits as did the others. I know people hate on Kris but you can't deny she is a great manager and business woman I'd take business advice off her if it was on offer

Kris has probably known for a long time about Caitlyn, she has to save face now not to look cruel. To be fair, Caitlyn likely told Kris that it was a feeling but if they were going to be together, he was fully committed to their relationship.
It's hilarious that people don't this this show is 95% staged. This whole "spontaneous" conversation, Kim strolls in fresh out of the make-up chair, new outfit on, just as the lights are on, cameras rolling, "Hey mom... let's talk about the accusations in the book." "Oh, you read that? Let me burst into the conversation and make sure I say it exactly how I scripted it... as we 'loop' the lines when I'm off-camera, cutting to Kim to cover the ADR." Kim's only job in this scene is that of the 'reflection' character that feeds Kris her setup lines. This staged scene and placement on Yahoo and the other media was so Kris and plead her case that she's not stashing money from the family. Um, her entire income is based on the girls and using them to cash in... she has no real job other than "managing" them.
I'm really curious to read the book but I am not going to support her and buy the book.

I think it happens when men start being comfortable with someone doing the tasks for them they don't want to do. That goes for anyone who starts allowing people to do EVERYTHING for you. At the moment, you think you're getting off and not having to live with the pressure of bills, payment deadlines, etc. But eventually you realize you lost touch with reality and have reverted back to living like a child with a mom who does everything for you. It's as much his fault as hers.

I wish Kris would write a book. I am going through the same thing. My husband of 20 years gave me the gift of his trans identity for our 20th anniversary present. All the while he never said a word before or during our marriage, but says he's known since he was a kid. Right now I am a falling apart. I see now I was his mother and not his wife. I think all of Bruce's wives took care of Bruce the same way Kris is describing.

Ok but in the first season I believe it was, Kris did have Caitlyn (Bruce) give her the check and complained about the money spent on helicopters and toys but would buy a $4000 black dress. So I can see where Cait was coming from but I don't think it was right to publically badmouth the woman you were married too for 23 years and had 2 children with. There are many sides to a story and you have every right to tell it but I think when you have kids with someone you can't hate them that much.

He allowed that! I see this a lot in people's relationships. My own parents had this exact issue. People cannot control you unless you give that control over to them. Bruce could have insisted on having that name on every account, his name in everything. But Bruce allowed Kris to run their lives bc she was good at doing so and it released him from most boring responsibilities. Then he realized that the catch to allowing someone to do everything for you means you have no power anymore, and that Bruce didn't like. So now Caitlyn is resentful and airing every pissed off thought she ever had. Its not a good look and its likely why her show failed and she is the least successful Jenner from the Kar-Jenner group. She really alienated the LGBTQ community with her super conservative views after transitioning and wasn't smart enough to try and speak well of her family. So

Assuming you are mocking her for wanting a heads up. I just want to say imagine yourself on a date with someone ,and your head over heels for them and they tell you they want to be the opposite gender. You now have the opportunity to leave especially since you have nothing tying you down such as history, kids, fame etc. All I'm saying is that decision is a lot harder to make with those factors involved especially if Bruce at the time made excuses because he struggled with his identity. I'm looking at it from her perspective and seeing it like this: I have kids with him and I want what's in their best interest , the media will go crazy and blow things out of proportion, look at our history not everything was bad and I do love him. Factors such as these in combination with excuses from someone that is confused with their identity can create the delay in judgement to leave Bruce. In fact it wasn't until caitlyn finally came to terms of who she is and the excuses that held the family semi together disappeared that kris left

I watched the show for years. Caitlyn confuses me. Granted Kris could be harsh with Bruce but Bruce was all about being manly and high moral values. Kylie wanted to wear makeup at 15. Bruce wouldnt let her. Caitlyn is shallow, mean spirited and everything she accuses the girls of she is. I know people who are part of the community none like her.

I know people who are part of the community and they are exactly like Caitlyn. My mom was what gay men call a "f@g hag". They seem to take on this stereotypical female Dynasty Joan Collins type persona when they transition when they interact with women who they resent (and, more than likely, wanted to be like and have studied for a while). Men with female alter-egos appear to be just misogynistic men who play victim behind a female persona while passive-aggressively trying to tear down women they were 1) once intimate with or 2) have a secret envy of.
Not making excuses for her , but wonder if it is part of transition . Like to marry your two personas ? Hopefully in a few more years the personality of calm and positive and kind she demonstrated in Bruce will re-emerge .
