@@Dane-ep8bb Easiest way is to load a savegame from that guy: th-cam.com/video/UdiSINvb8c0/w-d-xo.html. The google drive link to the savegame is: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1UW6ipGzioP_kHw4ygETHSwirs2yVNGcx?usp=share_link
It would be good to see the CPU load as well, because I see that the GPU load is not used at 100%. There are probably too many tasks for the 7800X3D and that's why it works hard. By the way, the version is already 17.1. I'm thinking of getting a 7800X3D.
Yea sorry i had problems at the time with msi afterburner Cpu load end game never really goes past 60% not sure if it's a ram bottleneck in game usage late game will be 24GB or could just be engine limitation and its a very good choice!
@@Dane-ep8bb No, the GPU isn’t maxed out, because Anno mostly didn’t went about 100FPS on ultra settings, even if the CPU and GPU isn’t maxed out, that’s a Anno engine problem, not a PC configuration problem 🙂
It is because game engines usually can only use few numbers of cores, and won't be able to use all at the same time. Usually when main thread gets full, it won't be able to utilize more. On 7800x3d that's usually at 60-70% very rare I go 80% on CPU bottlenecked games. E.g. MMORPGs like Throne and liberty and Albion also the same. Unlike say a benchmark or stress test program, the task is very engineered for all core load handling. For games, the main thread is the bottleneck. There is more to it under the hood, I just try to make it a bit simple. CPU components can also be bottlenecked be it L1 L2 or L3 cache limits, CU, bandwidth, & etc hindering the main thread or even other threads. I have 7800x3d and 7900xtx as well. Thanks for the video!
Hello, i have several doubts here: increased camera distance in settings needs to be checked, also try edge scrolling over island full of skyscrapers. i do That at 5M people and i get stutter with 1440p 13700k, RTX4070, 32 RAM, i get a bit less stutter on 0.5x speed. and i get 0 stutter at 50k people, and full GPU bound this is fine. but i wonder about the 5M situation :D
I'm not really understanding what your asking here? I've expanding on this save lots got to almost end of all islands with every dlc and I don't get any stutter or gpu never bottlenecks at 1440P this game is not gpu heavy its RAM heavy
If you have this on Steam, take Steam offline and try again. I have a 5900x / 6800xt and offline I get much more fps. I'm sure it's a bug that people have said in the past has been squashed but I don't believe it has.
looks like cpu bottleneck you gpu isn't at 80 % to 100 % using with my 13700k and the 4090 i have many times 100% grafic card using by extreme undervolt cpu
Looks nice. My 10700k (bottlenecking) with 6900 xt is after some population like a slideshow
Hey, there are some Anno Savegames with over 20 million citizens. Would you mind doing a performance test of the 7800x3d with one of this savegames.
Sure can! Daft question could you explain how to get them up? I only play skirmish

@@Dane-ep8bb i mean try 5M population or use that save file its 25m people also in settings "increase camera distance" needs to be enabled
