Hi there mate! Just a quick update: --q 2 does not work in v5 any longer, it was announced in one of the updates a few weeks ago. Right now, it does not break prompts or anything - it just doesn't affect them any longer. Another addition to get more prompt variations: Generate 8 prompts, provide each one in a separate codebox for easier copying. (Why 8? I noticed, if more - the last one may get cut off. A different number may work for you) Another addition for easier copying: Do not use quotation marks in any prompts :)
i cant get midjourney to generate dinosaurs, marine animals or even current animals to save my life lol. try do a accurate kangaroo, it dosent even matter what prompt i use ive tried everything. the problem is more with midjourney not even knowing what a triceratops is. this is so frustrating i would greatly appreciate any help. so far my best bet is using stable diffusion then using the image i get from that and putting that into midjourney but it still sucks
Try using the "Describe" feature, to post pictures that you like and get prompts that try to describe the image. Then start constructing new prompts using some of the descriptive terms suggested.
Good idea. I ve just tried it and chat gpt 3.5 failed me completely, starting from answering the first question. It was two lines long question meaning ‘yes’ instead of just YES. And then it created a 12-line prompt with full sentences 😅 I think it is mocking me
You are really good. Could you do a training to get midjourney to take a picture of my (deceased) pet and translate it into a drawing. Others have said there are trainings available but those do not work for pets and/or this version of midjourney. It keeps putting human faces on my dog.

Appreciate the sharing the knowledge and the ChatGPT prompt. Few key things I'd like to highlight tho: 1. Midjourney in v5 and above accepts natural language prompts and interprets them almost better than just adding words separated by commas. At least in my experience it does! Just adding words with commas is more the Stable Diffusion way of prompting, and still works in Midjourney ofcourse. Midjourney is good at all AI image generations so these results aren't necessarily bad, but I feel like they could have been better. I think that's also to do with you using Midjourney v5 for these prompts rather than v5.1 or v.5.1 RAW. 2. ChatGPT has a plugin called Photorealistic (find it in the Plugin store) and that produces very very good Midjourney prompts. It's made for Midjourney! I suggest you check that out and compare the prompt and result to your prompt and result. See which image you like better. I almost guarantee the Photorealistic provided prompt for Midjourney will create better images for v5 and above. Let me know how you go!
