@moanamarsh1798 the bass player is the world class bassist, Christian McBride. Besides his performance here with the Count Basie Orchestra, Christian was for a while part of the legendary Pat Metheny group, and has performed with many of the greatest jazz musicians in the world.
So true, Billie voice is so unique ❤️ As a vocal coach i think she is the Amy Winehouse of today, she has vocally created something new .. she can adapt to any genre, although she always uses a low range of 2/3 octaves, she is special… I’m 40 years old and I have been waiting for an artist like her for many years. An amazing singer, an artist who does everything by herself and despite this has a global success, she is the most complete artist we have today, but she is also an amazing person, so humble, kind, empathetic. What a woman ❤️
@@Jack2729o I think she sticks with the 2 + 3 vocal range because working up to 3 octaves would interfere with the whole-audience singalongs that comprise her concerts. Btw: there's nothing on earth like a 13-year old at 110 db hitting every syllable with Billie....
Guess she knew about the Career of Harry, And her kick-ass efforts With Blonde..I bet she Respects her efforts, and Likes and Respects What Harry Did,Which is Why I Suspect She wanted to perform with Debbie....Also have feeling that she respects Peggy Lee for she DID,TOO!
Peggy Lee was such an amazing singer, and Billie absolutely does her a lot of honor, the way she sings these songs. The duet with Debbie Harry was amazing! Billie could do a second carrer as a sultry jazz sing! She is so absolutely amazing and talented. I have loved her music from the first day I heard her! There is no one with such an amazing voice like her! 😍😍😍❤❤❤
Wow! I sometimes perform this song for my husband, in a most melodramatic way, to get him laughing uncontrollably. The lyrics are inherently melodramatic, and only someone like the amazing Peggy Lee, like Debbie Harry, and Billie Eilish can take these lyrics and get an audience to take them seriously.
Oh my God! That is so amazing!! As in everything, she blows away Lady Gaga! And in Is That All There Is, Billie's really got Peggy Lee down. She is an amazing talent. I wish I'd hear more of her. Soon. I'm gonna script one of her concerts, fictionally, into my show. Look for it.
Something’s missing! Digging Billie’s voice, hopefully stage presence will come at some point; that whole singing to the bass player thing is odd. Maybe it’s the camera phone presentation, but it didn’t feel like the Bowl, more like the auditorium at Hollywood High. Debbie, bless her heart, isn’t much of a singer, but it’s nice to see her face in the place.
the bass player smiling the whole time!!!!! i love seeing other talented musicians beaming watching her display her skills

I was there. Got chills listening to this. The audience was dumbfounded. Billie has a voice like silk. Add Debbie Harry to the mix and WOW.
