The other channels with Chinese language and no subtitles in this one I watched but some have in English subs too but they make the aurora nail by cutting the shape and then put gel on back of the paper and then build up in the shape of the paper and put it on top of it after cure . . The paper would lay like flat n perfect because I’m assuming the gel on back made it so it can cut easier too. Then cap it in n top coat. . It is way more 3D than not raising the paper up on gel. I love your work Suzi! You are one of my fav nail techs to watch, keep rocking it out!
Love these nails! They give me unicorn vibes. From what I know, there’s the aurora borealis (northern lights) and aurora australis (southern lights), maybe more but that’s all I know.

First off I want to say you’re one of my favorite TH-camrs of all time especially the fact that I love doing nails, but I really want to use my jelly tips but last year for Christmas my family bought me and Young Nails Black Friday said there came a base shell, two types of builder gel, and even two types of Harjöt All these different bottles with gel tips, jelly tips if you wanna put those on what’s recommended builder gel, hard gel base gel, well bistro was just for adherence of gel or anything you want to put on but I don’t know which one goes and you’re very educated and Nails and I love this look and I love when people continue to add more chrome on top And make a few layers and file each layer as they go. What would you recommend?
It’s true I can build a beautiful nail with any product - I even made a beautiful nail with cornstarch and nail polish, which I don’t recommend, but I don’t know the ins and outs of every detail of every product and every product name. I do suggest strongly that my videos are excellent for learning how to do nails and the structure but if you want to learn the exact use of each individual product. I would check out Young Nails’s videos. You will learn specifically what each product is for.

There is a company who sells this glass paper. Their paper is really thin and is self adhesive, therefore easier to use. You can also use clear oil slick foil. It's the same process, except you need to peel of the foil after curing.

I know your a very busy woman so I will try to keep this short and simple. What kind of nails do I need to get to help my natural nails get stronger? My nails are thin and VERY flexible, and stay scuffed up because I work in a deli and we hand wash everything.

I have done this twice on clients and once on myself. It can be tricky getting that perfect effect you see in some photos. It's all about getting that perfect piece of angel paper and minimal crinkles. Its frustrating. But practice makes perfect.

Is it better for the natural nail to attached the tip with acrylic as you did on the video, instead of using glue?
so what you're saying is that the foil will go in "whole", not as a usual foil would, that is used as the color and not as the plastic with it?

Recently I did my moms nails with acrylic. She was way over due for a fill. I noticed her thumb natural nails were a little long and looked... kind of shredded?? Maybe more like "fringe". But even worse than that was as I filed off the color and some of the acrylic there was a horrible smell in the acrylic, like a stagnent, soured water smell. Her natural nail did not have this smell. I do not like where she goes to get her nails done because they are constantly cutting her cuticles. But I have no clue what would make the acrylic smell so bad? Can monomer go bad??

Do you always file on top before applying top coat on any gel polish? Or just this design in particular
It depends on what you're doing. If you're just polishing your nails, then you wouldn't file. You would just top coat as usual.
Suzy used builder gel to encapsulate the foil on her nail so she needed to file to help smooth out any ridges, lumps and/or bumps left behind.
Just this design sweetie- i had to sculpt the gel is only reason in this case- normally you dont do that

I noticed when you laid down your no wipe topcoat first for the chrome that the tip was not prepped on top for the gel. Would that not cause lifting as shine won't stick to shine?
Yes it would cause it - it would not stick
I didnt see any issues- some time camera angles and light can be deceiving - illtake a look

You may be busy to read this, but for a long time now I’ve been wanting to thank you for all you give to us on your channel. At school, in Southern California, Beauty school taught nothing. We watched videos from Tammy Taylor that we’d talk through or fall asleep on. I gave up on acrylic because no one taught anything and I had lifting always. Other nail techs would say use more primer, or use this primer instead or use three different ones, and more ridiculous useless suggestions. I gave up. I did have a great clientele as a natural inly manicurist but now everyone wants gels and I want to come out of retirement. I’m getting better with your help and will definitely try acrylic again because of you. But also because of Camera Man! Susie, he is unmatchable! The angles he gets are unbelievable. We can see every single little detail. Others are good but Camera Man holds a special place in my heart because he is so dedicated. Thank you both so much. I will be trying your acrylic so I can get back into it. You two are everything! ❤️ T!
My natural nails are kinda long (I would grow them longer but the risk of breaking is too high) but I love long coffin and almond shape so I’ve really been wanting to try out doing gel or acrylic. Watching this channel has taught me so much I think I might be able to do it!!

Hello.when I was 9 years old (maybe younger)I stepped into the world of nail art. I was very good and a few of my "clients" were my grandmother and my mom because they both had long nails, I have adhd so I struggle with picking at my own. About a year later, I found acrylic things and stuff, I IMMEDIATELY started saving my money and bought a starter kit on amazon. I knew then I'd have to practice. Today I am eleven years old and still going at it and oh my gosh I think I've watched almost every single one of your videos and they have helped me so much but one thing I still struggle with is flooding the cuticle with monomery-acrylic and I would really appreciate some tips!
Hi there sweetheart. My name is Bernadette but i just wanted to say, wow your amazing for starting that young. I have ADHD as well and OCD suzie does the best instruction videos in the world, in my humble opinoin. Keep at it and you'll become a master just like her in no time. Now im no doctor nor do i have any say what you should or shouldnt do sweetie but i just wanna give some advice. If your parents dont believe in adhd medcine for young kids like mine did, didnt start taking meds for that until i was in 4th grade all the way back in '04, caffiene is a great helper. Gosh i feel old. My parents used to say to my teachers to give me some coffee if i ever got too hyper and it worked for me and i was able to focus for a while and be calm, if they dont want to give you coffee then i suggest tea it has less caffene but still calmed me down. I was born in '94, im 26 gonna be 27 this year in may. If anything was rude or mean sweetheart oh gosh im so so so sorry, i have aspergers syndrome a form of autism. Social situations escape me and i learn a bit slower but thats it. All in all i just wanted to cheer you on and wish you the best of luck sweetheart. Stay safe and have fun doing nail art. I'll be rooting for you, kid.
Does it truly have to be no-wipe top coat, or can it be standard top coat, that is thoroughly cleansed, and allowed to dry?

Have y'all ever considered putting out versions of your vids with no music? Sometimes I find it distracting. Oh! I mean that's a me thing, not that your levels are wrong or anything! Suzie, put some color lipstick. Pale lips can be in fashion, but it does not mean it looks good on everybody. Your lips are very thin to hide them even more. You practically look lipsless.

I was wondering about those wrinkles in the film... Can you go in and snip those little crinkles with your scissors, just one little snip on each one, and when you add the top gel layer, would those snipped pieces fold down under the weight of the gel? Would it create a geometric shape under there?

Don’t you need to buff the surface of the gel tip before adding more gel to it? I know she said she buffed the inside, but the outside still looked shiny to me.
