Thanks for sharing this....I took mine apart and cut out gasket over blocked port and re tuned carb. Saw is much more responsive now and seems to run cleaner with less oil haze when gunned.
It was lazy, but a weird feeling lazy, and just rich as crap and couldn’t tune it out. Like you tho, I really can’t believe it ran as well as it did. They could have included a memo saying rip this section out after you own it lol.
Must have 😂. It’s part of the thrill to me 👍. Got it cut out and holy cow it’s a total different saw. I’m very surprised it had any power at all as well. I’d say it was running about 75% power with the gasket blocked. I’m going to upload my update video tomorrow of it cutting. Saw inside looks very nice, transfer caps have a small restriction, but not enough to worry about unless doing a full on port job.

That’s what I like to hear. Glad this helped you out 👍👍
At least the port was there. Could have been worse I guess. LOL good find
Good video TW. I ported one of those a few years back. It was a 543xp. Interesting saws for sure.
Def an interesting saw. I’m looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.

That’s nuts man. My 843 gasket is not like that, I’m surprised you had any power. Someone was sleeping in QC that day😆

@@dubbssawshop so did it run better with the block removed?
it is not a problem for QC,we made it mate
Did I see a reedblock block off plate in one of those pictures ?
A non-Strato Strato saw! What an oddity 🤣
So did she running better?
This is purely manufacturing error because if it were because of copyright violation it would have applied just by the visual appearance of the saw.
😂😂
Momma always said you’d have days like this. 😂👍
Casel look like zenoah clone, but cylinder is new..
The 543xp/gz4350 was designed by zenoah
@@firewatch814 owned by Husqvarna?
@@hardcoreplayafromthehimala4888 yep, since 2007, that cylinder design goes back to 2001 with changes in port alignment for the 4350/543.
