Failing to understand how and where from he kept on arranging finances for his film which repeatedly not done well on box office, nevertheless he tirelessly went on making motion pictures which could not recover the investment therein... Therefore, he was a multi-millionaire(or even a billionaire) before the beginning of his last 20 years which saw only flops. Also, he had a great number of friends amongst independent overseas filmmakers who often bankrolled his projects irrespective of the b/o results, coz he was so financially secure he never had to bother about repayment issues. Plus, as per records, he was still earning around ₹ 10-15 crores from Navketan Sound Labs where a number of box-office hits including TAARE ZAMEEN PAR, LAGE RAHO MUNNA BHAI, BAGHBAN etc underwent sound editing and composition.
