Exactly! I cut ties with someone almost 3 years ago and this was spot on, something I already knew as well, sadly. This wouldn't be the first time this person went radio silent FOR YEARS on me. I can't tell you how many times I said to myself 'they aren't worth this' but like a moth to a flame....this time was different in that I deleted their number, their texts, took them off of all social medias and gaming platforms. Ugh 2 was so spot on and made me cry like a baby. Lots of repressed pain over what happened and the love I've had for that person. I met someone who I immediately clicked with personality, interests etc… i know he is my soulmate, I felt it the day we met, we just fit like perfect halves and I love him a lot but he has a lot of darkness within him that he needs to fix and try as I might I can’t fix it all for him, he has to put in the effort to change and heal.

My ex and I were together for over 3 years and only recently split. We had so so so many things in common in was insane (we also shared the same name). Everyone was always talking about how perfect we were together, we were the only stable couple of the friend group so sometimes friends would say they envied our relationship.
Daddy issues? yes. Her biological father ab*sed her and her mom.
