I like this man. He does a great job in explaining comet orbits in a way non-astronomers can understand. Well done!

Great video. I photographed Comet C/2022 with just a DSLR and tripod. It was easy to find since last time I remember it took me a bit to find. It’s getting brighter.

Thanks so much.. Great explanation of what Dwarf is capable of and the post processing needed. New to AP and EAA, so this was really helpful. Can’t wait for my Dwarf II to arrive. Website preorder, so may be awhile. Clear Skies..

I wished I'd seen this yesterday. We went out last night to a park outside of Tucson with no luck. A web search said it would be most visible a couple of hours before sunrise, so we went out again this morning but had the same results. We didn't have anything to aid our eyes, and I didn't see anything in a 30-second phone camera picture that I took.

Ah yeah the comet is very hard to spot and the smartphone might have the exposure length (30s sounds great) but normally not the focal length. On those cameras the comet will appear as a tiny tiny dot, if it shows at all.
Free apps like "stellarium" will show you in real time where the comet is though.
      Cheers and clear skies!!

Hi, Thanks for your review about the dwarf II. I'im in a real dilema. I'm an astronoob with a motorised 130/900. I wanted to do a little bit of astrophotography with it but it seems the scope configuration prevent to get focus with a standard DSLR way. So I made some through the occular but it's quite limited. Then even it's not a very big scope it's already heavy a large enough to not allow to take it with me during vacations.
So the dwarf II seems to be a good candidate but I fear it could be rapidely limited as it's not built for observing and not optimized for planetary. On the other hand it seems to be very well made and very very portable. And taken shoots can be very vey good with the help of pixinsight.
Then I looked at the star adventurer gti with a tripod and a DSLR or a small scope (little Mak or 72ed or even smaller). It's less portable but remain a quite small setup. Then it's really not cheaper as the dwarf II even if I include the pixinsight price.
    What would you do ?
I'm searching for opinions about this. Many thanks by advance for any comment or suggestion.

How long did it take to ship the telekscope when did you order it?

About three weeks. I didn't order it though because I got one free of charge for testing and reviewing it. Cheers!

Have you used it recently? I am being gifted one and wanted to see if they've gotten the software any better.

They massively updated the software so I have to do another video about this :-)
