@stevie31 hmm good question, based on my experience it's easy to pick up but then the skill ceiling feels high. My first attempts at this boss challenge were over so fast LOL. Maybe I'll make an in-depth review video of the overall demo and elaborate on the gameplay

FINALLY someone who is actually good at the game. Every other game play video I’ve seen has been such a disappointment, it’s like only people who suck at video games were the ones that got their hands on the demo (I do appreciate them uploading the content tho lol)
But yeah would love to see a second playthru where you break down the skills and combat. Have subbed and am looking forward to what ever vids you release in the future.

This game looks incredible! This is my introduction to the souls like genere and I absolutely love it! I am going to play stellar blade, wuthering waves, and darksouls!
It isn't quite like a Souls game, less punishing elements and more fluid combat! But you're gonna love it, BTW I recommend starting Souls series with Demon's Souls 👌

I love the combat even with the limited toolset in the demo. Dodges feel very cool and parries feel especially rewarding because the DualSense speaker plays a confirmation sound

Wow finally a skilled player actually exploring the mechanics of the game and putting ‘em to use. This is getting me even more hyped i can’t freakin wait for this game to drop! Btw you can tell it’s a quality video when there’s no stupid “playing with one hand” or ass jokes in the comments 😂 but just people enjoying the gameplay. Also thanks for using the black suit, it looks so badass and elegant on Eve, i wanted to see how it looked in action.

The black suit is awesome! It definitely takes after Tachy's outfit 😁 and the glowing parts look sick on an HDR display

I beat the boss with only one heath bar with no heals took some time but I pulled it off but can’t wait for difficultly to go up a level and so that u can replay the bosses again
You can press L1 to parry its explained in the first min of the game btw.

I've never once seen a visual effect/audio cue or anything to show that Eve hit a critical. Probably good since there's a lot going on already haha
I don’t know there were options for your gear. It would have made things easier for me, but I still beat him.
For a casual gamer the story mode in the demo offers a good challenge only issue was the last boss, but man that boss challenge forget it, Eve is fully upgraded but its not like in the demo that show you how to use all the skills and i dont eve know how to fire the cannon.
Yeah man. I tried countless times and it's just hopeless for me.

This one along with every video on my channel has been on Balanced ^^ I really like it, feels smooth and barely slower than Performance.

I'm a little reassured by the fact that I can't beat the 2nd boss: Story mode and all its aids plus damage reduction are deactivated or cannot be selected for the 2nd boss. And I can manage the 1st boss. So there's still hope. Parrying is also working a bit better, but I can't get the sword up fast enough with 2 consecutive attacks in quick succession.
BTW: how can you change the ranged weapon? Can't figure it out :-(
Hi there, if you're struggling with Stalker, I recommend using the protection exospine. Try out the gears that increase your beta charge rate too, since the beta skills interrupt its attacks. Instead of parrying, jumping over most of his attacks works too! You can stay in the air longer by doing your whole 4-hit combo before finishing with a divekick. To change ammo: while aiming, hold down on the d-pad

Is this game a soulslike..? kinda seems like it is from the combat.
You could certainly play it like a soulslike but I think it would be less exciting that way; EVE's movement and toolkit are pretty big in the demo so the real game should be wild!
