Im from sweden, and had a snes system when I was a kid. And I can tell you, the cartridges that was sold here looked exactly like this. And also, we use PAL here, not NTSC. So I dont believe thats fake at all, but made for the Scandinavien market.
"Bergsala AB is a distribution company responsible for Nintendo's distribution in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. They also founded the Nintendo Video Game Club (the Swedish Club Nintendo). The company experienced explosive growth during the mid and late 1980s thanks to the sales of Nintendo's products."
100 legit cartridge, same as original Japan Super Famicom version
I don't think it was a SCN copy. The box is supposed to be yellow. It's either a German, Italian or maybe NL release. Could still be a reproduction though, it's impossible to tell from the video. You need to look at the PCB itself to determine that
yeah i agree but you need to open it up to know for sure
I found a couple of those online with the red box. It uses pal and not very common.
My folks bought me one of those helicopters when I was a little kid. Loved it! Yours is in amazing condition. Nice find!
22:55. The SE on PRS guitars means Student Edition. It's their "lower tier" guitars. They're still great guitars and people that have been playing guitar for a long time have them still as advanced players. He is right about the SE models being made overseas. They're great guitars regardless of where they're made though.
I believe it was Carlos Santana who encouraged PRS to make lower cost guitars in order to make a high quality guitar available for beginners and intermediate players.
Eh. SE's not being made in the states are the least of their issues. They have very little of what makes PRS desirable, at least in their electric catalogue. And I've had issues with the internals more than once.
Pal is not american for videogames. its european, asian
Definitely european
Yep, that guy with the games didn't know what he was talking about either
NTSC is for USA
NTSC Are mostly USA, Alaska and Canada.
PAL Are in Europa, Half South America, half Africa, Middle East, Asia, Australia.
Think you need the PAL console, most of them run on 220-240 volt.
@@DoNE021Alska is USA. It looked like you separated it with Canada.
Happy New Year to all of you!! 🎉 Thank you for all the information it is greatly appreciated!

Happy New Year to you and the crew. Wishing you all a fabulous one.
DUDE!!! that Red box mario all star, its PAL, european/asian. That game is rare!
Plenty of NTSC mario allsatrs, which is American.
With Pete a little bit of knowlege is a dangerous thing 🤣
Happy New Years Pete
And to the chat famlee Happy New Years to you all
Happy New Year Pete, hope 2025 is a great year for y'all. God Bless you & your Family...
Great video as always! Just a quick one, could you add in a separate shot of the item such as a closeup - as its sometimes quite difficult to see what the item is especially smaller items? Thanks! 😀
Your shop and you are the best👍 I love these vids.
good show - and love seeing Ruby at the end!
Happy New Year guy's, best wishes for 2025 ❤Great video as always, looking forward to many more 🤩
Happy New Year!! Great videos guys
First guy, I don’t know how much. That guy knew exactly how much he wanted.
I wouldn't bother dealing with someone like him.
Happy new year Pete!!!
Hey just so you know the acoustic guitars shrink/bow like that because the humidity is too low. Store it in the case with a damp sponge and it can come back to normal in a few weeks
Thanks. Love the wildlife..😊😊😊
Happy New Year Pete. You know what I mean!
Happy New Year Pete and crew
A star-studded episode! Congrats Pete! Anyone else see George Lucas at the case while Pete was finishing the first transaction?
The SNES game is a PAL UK release. Not american, which is NTSC
Yup
The Snes game is from Europe or Scandinavia and is PAL with Round Seal Of Quality and are 100 % legit
That particular version, with the red background is actually Italian.
@@mtbelley is it valuable?
@Amylee_ct not showing any sold, so I would sell it around the same value as a regular PAL version.
Very entertaining channel. Just subbed. Great content, keep it up!
1st I love your videos Pete happy New Years everyone ❤🎉
When it comes to PRS Guitars, the SE line stands for Student Edition. It's a budget friendly line of their guitars and are imported from overseas. The other lines of PRS guitars are made in the United States and come with a much higher price tag.
SE's are currently made in Indonesia
This guy doesn't have clue. Says he's a 'Guitar maker' ..then proceeds to ask to borrow a guitar cord. Lol..
they are student edition - but they play better than many other companies - this guy is just looking for deals - reselling - maybe stealing ha
@@Anthony_Glock he had a clue.......he was right lol
@@sebg2086 right at what? He said SE stands for being made over seas. Do you people not listen? Just because it’s an SE doesn’t mean it was made in Indonesia, silver sky SE, private stock, core, fiore and signature models are all made in Stevensville MD.
I have worked for Sam Ash music for years before they unfortunately shut down. Never had any music instrument but they were so nice to teach me everything I needed to know about guitars. Paul Reed Smith only manufactured their high end models in Maryland. And SE stand for Student Edition.
SE on guitar model numbers generally stands for Student Edition and are generally manufactured in Korea or Indonesia
Peter, the “SE” in Paul Reed Smith guitars stands for “Student Edition.” The student edition is produced by PRS partners in either Surabaya, Indonesia, or Dalian, China. Electrics are made in Indonesia, and Acoustics, and acoustic electrics are made in China. So what you have there is a SE acoustic model made in Dalian, China. Still a nice guitar, but not a handmade PRS that they are so famous for. They’re produced right here near my home in Maryland. Stevensville to be exact. That guy knows his guitars.
I've been to Chester. Bought a Popeye coffee mug there. Chester is about a mile or two upstream from Tower Rock. One of the most iconic landmarks on the Mississippi River. A must see.
Happy New Year! If you go out on the road, come on out to Saint Charles Missouri.
Ruby wants loves❤ Happy New Year!
Yayyyyy loved seeing Ruby,tysm..
Behind the scenes --Pete actually punched John Lennon in the face and forced him to buy something. (guitar/ DVD player) I was there hiding in the display case. tricky work he made of that guy. pretty impressive stuff.
Underrated comment
Happy new year to you all Pete
I just bought a PRS SE (foreign made) and they are beautiful guitars that sound and play amazing. You can save a ton of money on a quality instrument if you buy a PRS SE!
Love the channel 🎉❤😊
Happy New Years!
Pete Happy New Year! All the best in 2025
Hey Pete, you should hire that guitar maker as a consultant for guitars you sell, work out a store credit thing to comp him or something
ALWAYS SOMETHINF TO LEARN ON THIS SHOW!!!!!
Happy New Years Pete and crew 2025 !
Happy New years Pete
I live in the UK and still have my snes from back in the day with a load of games including this one and ALL of my cartridges looked like this. Its a PAL version and it looks pretty legit and in great condition. I dont have the box anymore but i dont remember it being red...im sure it was black and yellow. I think you missed out on a good product there.
On The PRS the SE stands for Student Edition. A slight "hump" or Radius is build into all steel string acoustic guitars. Possibly there is an issue I cant see in the video but a Radius is way better than it been flat. Flat would meen its dryed out from hanging on an exterior wall in the dry time of year in Chicago area.
@12:39 *GI Joe helicopter and Pete played with Matchbox cars* (good find)
Happy New Year 🎊🎈🎆
@6:50 Ballbusted on the Mikimoto pearls with that long pause! He wanted the pearls and hoped the seller would waver if he dragged it out
Happy new year.
Where will the show be going on the road ?
Turns out the Mario All Stars he passed on was pretty much the rarest and most expensive version of the game x.x
Happy New Year! shops open today???
love the Parrot at the end
I used to sell cds to a used record store and most of the time i took the store credit option, because it was a better deal
Happy new year Pete, I have a friend long time ago in Washington PA that had a buy and sale store and he’s name was Pete, is that you?
Super Mario All Stars game was a PAL version game, the seal you mentioned is always round on them and cartridges are different from US because the console itself is different design.
Can't tell from from the video if it was a reproduction or not though. You have to get Nintendo security bits and look at the PCB
Happy 2025!❤❤❤ Americans want to embrace the products that helped shaped their local communities
Fun fact about pearls, all of them are cultured 😂😂😂
Please give us an update when you get the pearls fixed and sell them.
PAL is absolutely NOT made for the American market. PAL has slightly higher resolution than the American version, which is NTSC. PAL was standard in the UK and some other overseas markets.
PAL was used in Europe, Africa, Asia (not Japan and Korea), India, South America and Australia.
Basically everyone used PAL but North America Japan and Korea.
They used NTSC.
Great show, always making money,Happy New Year to you and family!
SE --- Usually "Student Edition"
I did more digging on google lol
SE does typically mean Student Edition but as I kept reading different links it also says these guitars are typically made in China. So it checks out lol That guy really does know what he’s talking about.
@@Tcheny They're made in South Korea
He is right. SE is PRS approved but not made in US.
Is that first bubbles from trailer park Boys 🤔🤔🤔🤣
That SNES game is real, I live in Sweden and Bergsala (Swedish toy comapny) made a deal with Nintendo back in the early Game and Watch days and became the sole distributor for all Nintendo products in Scandinavian countries. The game is for the European, PAL, SNES that looked just like the Japanese Famicom. You can play those games on NTSC consoles with an adapter and they never had the plastic sleeve that US games had. Super funny seeing a Swedish game end up on the show... and for future reference the boxes had wildly differing colors picked to match the art.
The version in the video is the Italian version.
Yep ive seen that red box before, definitely real. Guy was a bit unlucky Pete didnt buy it
@sonicyouth1915 you must actually mean that the guy that brought it in was lucky he didn't sell it for cheap to the pawn shop....
@@mtbelley Germany also had the red box
@@mtbelleybut they said it had the name of the Swedish importer on it…did they handle all of Europe?
pete i have a g.i joe air craft carrier new in the box fromaround 1983-85..i also have 200 figures and about 75 planes tanks jeeps weapons boats and everything is like new
PRS solid spruce top, abalone shell bindings, abalone birds fret markers. $350 is about right.
The man's right about the PRS SE, they are made in the far East
What is Geddy Lee doing in a pawn shop in IL?
In geddys defense he's right about the guitar top being warped.100%right.
Good call on identifying geddy lee. But how did u see the warp?
I work for snap on tools and they give us stuff like that toy truck hauler and anything else that they cant get rid of lol thays usually what they gift us for Christmas and you will see those items all over ebay 😂
Nice to see your Beard back in full form 😀
HAPPY NEW YEAR Pete! Loved your first video of 2025, great content! On the acoustic guitar scene, if you ever see a Yamaha acoustic guitar with a bright orange label on the inside, look at this 1 very careful, these are very desirable, a lot of bluegrass musicians love them, some go for several hundred dollars or more! I've got 1, it's an amazing instrument! God Bless and Stay Safe!🎉
14:22 "They can get up there"
*Well yes it's a helicopter* 🚁 😁
That's a fly comment 😁
what kind of gun is in the display case?
Wszystkiego najlepszego w Nowym Roku Piotrek!
Pacific pearl from Hinata Trading in Kobe is an excellent source for pearls. Full process and bulk. I would say the best in the world, maybe second to Akoya Perl in Ise... but it’s a different pearl.
I like this. It's genuine and real feel compared to Pawn Stars and Hardcore Pawn, which I also like, but it's more for show
The Paul Reed Smith SE is made overseas but the "SE" stands for student Edition
Long time no see Pete I still need this cleaning toilet job let me know
Happy New Year!
Hes right the SE stands for student edition, made in China or Indonesia
Roger is funny, good show lol
Maybe someone else has pointed this out and it was probably the point, but Popeye JUST became part of the public domain at the start of 2025, so starting with Popeye is PERFECT
First guy looks like he could be John Force's brother.
That super nintendo catridge style was for the UK, Japan and allot of other countries. The SNES game console in the US was boxy and ugly but in other countries like the Japan (where it said it was made) it was way better looking rounded style and had matching cartridges
the guitar guy was so cool
What a beautiful bird…does he get along with the Cat ?
That last guy knows damn well that PAL is not an American format. 🙄
The cartridge is 100% legit.
It’s for the PAL market, which is basically everywhere but North America and Japan who settled for the inferior NTSC format.
It is red because of the PAL world getting other colors.
Finally I can watch your videos again now that you are saying things normally and I can like the videos again
Yea the se is the budget line, think of it like Mexican fenders
That musician was a trip 😂
It has always annoyed me when people want to sell an item, but they have no asking price in mind. Or, they do, but do not want to speak it or note it. So, instead, they fish for offers. Ebay sellers do the same thing, only they put up an unrealistic asking price, but they add the Make an Offer option to the listing. Making deals is never easy. The buyer wants the item for the best price, and the seller want to get the most possible out of the item. So, making a deal is sometimes tough. Dealing seems to be an artform, lol.
That Snap On truck may get you a couple extra bucks - put in the ad - "RARE packaging mis-match" - serious!
Was this the Grandpa from Pawn Stars (Richard Benjamin Harrison) on 22:50 ?
That totally looks like him, I did not notice, good eye. I don't think it is actually him, but they look a lot alike.
