Fun thing related to 08:27 : in 1990 I got a “Sugar Bear” Christmas Tree Ornament from a box of Super Golden Crisp. It had a battery in it and when you pushed it it would play a chip tune version “Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer” like 30 seconds worth. It had a really great battery it still worked until about 3 years ago. I still have it and yes still hang it on my tree every year.
I remember this. My brother and I watched Inspector Gadget and Looney Tunes every weeknight before Nicktoons. We couldn’t see the Nicktoons right away because they aired on Sunday mornings when we were at church.
@@MartenFerret You can say that again! I never even liked Ren & Stimpy to begin with. We were, however, allowed to watch Rugrats and Doug a few years later when they aired in reruns during weekday afternoons/evenings.
FLEXI BEARS/BLOCKS! How could I forget those! I remember my family got them for me!... Every time they pinched my fingers. They were fun though. Also, out of sheer curiosity, I went on ebay and checks out what the current value of all the crap (sans VHS taps) they were trying to sell you here was. The Flexi Bears/Blocks are the only thing that really increased in value by much at all. The coin you can find for its original value + shipping in some listings, everything else? At least cut in half. Except that doll. 125 in 1990, 15 bucks in 2019. Oh this has been a wonderful trip down memory lane. I love Inspector Gadget and there was probably a good chance I watched this very block when I was a kid. I haven't seen a lot of these commercials in ages, I forgot a lot of them even existed despite so many of them being some of my faves as a kid. Thanks for uploading.
You prolly dont care but if you're stoned like me atm you can watch all the latest movies on Instaflixxer. Been watching with my brother for the last few days :)
@Greg Stevens, can you find and post Nickelodeon commercials from June 13, 1994 to September 2, 1994 during the morning and early afternoon hours aired during episodes of Rugrats, The Alvin Show, The Muppet Show, Sharon, Lois & Bram's Elephant Show, The World of David the Gnome, Eureeka's Castle, and Special Delivery?
00:37 imagine opening your front door and they are already mid way through a conversation with someone that's not even there, I certainly wouldn't let them in my house!
+GregSteven, Do you have a batch of tapes recorded from Nickelodeon from 1993 - 1997 so far do you have some/several/many "Eureeka's Castle", "Kids' Court", "Count Duckula", "Nickelodeon's Most Wanted: Yogi Bear", "Hey Dudes", "Fifteen" with Ryan Reynolds! Danger Mouse, The Underdog Show, in 1993 and 1994, Cartoon Kablooey in 1993, 1994, and 1995, Bullwinkle's Moose-A-Rama in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, SNICKs, Roundhouse + Muppet Matinee, some "R U Afraid of the Dark" in 94 of "The Secret World of Alex Mack", The Alvin Show on Nickelodeon in 1994 and 1995, U to U in 1995, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Inspector Gadget, The Adventures of Tintin, Weinerville, Ship to Shore in 1996 and 1997?
I Totally Love Arby’s French Dip and Swiss Sandwiches, That Thin-Sliced Juicy Roast Beef covered in Creamy Melted Swiss Cheese between Warm Toasty Ciabatta Bread, with Hot Savory Au Jus, Crunchy Seasoned Curly Fries, Crispy Juicy Chicken Tenders, and an Ice Cold Refreshing Drink! Yummy!😍😋❤️📺🎶
I was surprised when I saw Pete and Pete was on tv in 1990, but wikipedia said it first aired around February 1991.... I guess These recordings are from 1991?
The first commercial that I remember was “Demon Sword” for the NES. I still have this game. I played this game and it was a direct sequel to “The Legend Of Kage”, and the artwork was Conan like, but not the one. It was a decent game, but it wasn’t too bad. I beat the entire game where it took almost an hour to beat, and the ending was meh. “Demon Sword” was actually a port of a Famicom game which was from Japan. Like I said, the artwork was a Conan style warrior holding a Demon Sword, but the game itself was a Ninja style warrior. I don’t know the difference about this game. It’s really confusing. “Demon Sword” was a direct sequel to “The Legend Of Kage”. Both “The Legend Of Kage” and “Demon Sword” are by the same publisher as “Space Invaders”.
Oh shit...Britannica I almost forgot what it was like not having the internet in my pocket at all times.

Good, Christian children weren't watching Ren and Stimpy anyway. ;)

Thank you so much for sharing!! Such an flashback!
I still in diapers in 1990, it’s interesting to see what Nickelodeon was like before Nicktoons.
Before Nicktoons? A lot of British and English-dubbed Japanese cartoons with koalas.

40:27 Some kid watching Inspector Gadget saw the greased up guy in the Soloflex commercial and wondered why he really liked watching it.
And 29 years later...Here you are as an adult thinking about that greased up guy!
