Incredible review. No words, full display of tonal range and functionality. I've taken more away from this short video than others twice as long. And great playing to go with it!
Awesome review. I can learn how the pedal works by reading about it online...don't need to hear it explained. Love how you skipped that and just played. Great playing too. Thanks!
I’ve seen this demo a couple of times now. It’s pretty much the prefect gear demo. Well done mate. I’ve got the Sweet Tea V3 but thinking of exchanging for this one. Great playing and good showcase of tones.
I was listening to this via wireless headphones and wasn’t looking at the screen… man I can’t believe you got these sounds out of a TELE!!! The more I hear these JHS pedals the more I find I love the tones they kick out! *SOME OF THE BEST GUITAR PLAYING I HAVE LISTENED TO IN QUITE A WHILE TOO!*
Awesome demo! You just sold another one of those. Like the previous comment - thanks for not stacking unrelated pedals and not shredding the whole time. Awesome and thank you!
Nice playing my friend. Just discovered your demos. Tasteful licks...really liking your playing technique. Very refreshing seeing someone else’s take on todays gear / pedals. Keep making the videos. Joe
Just bought a used one and it’s probably one of my favourite pedals atm. I’ve owned many JHS including a Bonzai but this takes the cake as being my favourite JHS pedal.
Great demo ! I actually have the Jetter Gold standard but want to change for a good 2 channel OD , smooth, warm ! Double barrel, sweet tea, Xotic AC plus to play everything from light bluesy crunch to ZZ Top and Gilmour solos and classic rock too ? Thanks for your answer and help . Kindest regards from France
Man I have a question for you. So I have a double barrel on order I wanted it mainly for boosting clean adding grit and in between sounds but also want to use it on my higher gain channel to boost as well and fatten things up at times kinda like drive off level up fashion. Would you say it could work well for that purpose as well?
The clean knob blends in the clean signal to the dirty signal. All the way up is completely clean. I usually keep it all the way off or just a little bit up for some definition.
Mark C I think the prices will be dropping. The pedal market is oversaturated. I’m not willing to pay that much anymore and watching reverb and selling and buying stuff just confirms it. I’m basically giving things away for about half price.
You get $41 off per pedal, saving $82 in all to get both at once instead of separately, with the ability to conveniently toggle the order you stack them in, and only power it off one supply input on your power supply. It seems like a great deal to me...
also anyone else notice how loud this pedal is? normally I have the volume at about 9 o clock or its way too loud haha as much as I would love to crank it
What a incredibly tasteful demo. Thank you for not stacking unrelated pedals for this review and not just shredding the entire time.

Best tone of all the demos I’ve seen/heard on the DB v4.
Awesome review. I can learn how the pedal works by reading about it online...don't need to hear it explained. Love how you skipped that and just played. Great playing too. Thanks!
This guy plays so well, and that tele sounds so good in his hands, great stuff !!

R.J., between you, Pete Thorn, and Mike Hermans, I will never be able to cure my GAS. And I think I’m pretty happy about that!

hey R.J., killer playing as always! Do you recall what strings you would have been using on your tele? Love how they sound.
Jeez RJ! You have absolutely the slickest blues licks ever man. 🤘🏼🙏🏽 I️ love my JHS / Magic Hat 🎩 BTW and must grab a Double Barrel asap. Killer vid!
What kind of post processing is going on? That tone is so smooth. What speaker is in that amp btw? Mic?

Hey R.J. love the video and just picked up my own a couple weeks ago. So is there a difference between this pedal and the one you normally tour with?
nice demo sir!
That is a tasty groove!
Badass player :-)

The left side of the double barrel does that nicely. It is the morning glory circuit side that is awesome for boosting.
That TELE spanks!!!
Great demo! What amp where you going through? thanks!
Suhr pt100
Can someone please explain to me what the difference between the gain and the clean knob? It seems to do the same thing.
The clean knob blends in the clean signal to the dirty signal. All the way up is completely clean. I usually keep it all the way off or just a little bit up for some definition.
I like this not too much fuzzies duzzies, on the fist setting he had.
do you prefer this pedal or the sweet tea pedal? which one is more dynamic and which one is more expressive?
which did u end up getting?
Legal!!
backing tracks ?
👍
tasty
What amp did you use? Sorry if you already answered this, but I didn't see it anywhere.
oops, Suhr Pt 100
...$315.00....pedal builders getting bolder and bolder.....
Or you could buy a JHS Moonshine V2 and a Morning Glory V4 for $198.00 each and not have the toggle features..

Hey dude. Awesome playing. What brand/gauge strings you use on your tele
15 people prefer the Sweet Tea...
Cool cats wear White Sox hats, but nice try. ;-)
What are you, three years old? Sheesh....

Not getting involved but, you're not your.
