Thanks for the video. It allowed me to quickly set up a runpod and play with it myself. It's pretty impressive for the size. I tested it with other languages than English, too, but it would only produce nonsense. To be fair, MS did mention this as one of the limitations of this model, so no surprises here.

I tried Phi-2 in colab, considering it could be promising as starting point (considering it's small dimension) and then use RAG to build up with my scientific context. I was quite disapointed with text_to_text capabilities... it seems it is very much designed for very specific use cases like "python coding" and "maths". But this might be good for marketing purposes - in the sense that it is able to outperform other bigger models in some specific areas.
For my specific target of searching for a small model to build up with RAG, it seems there are other better solutions... I specifically liked ORCA-2... but still consider to use FlanT5, T5, Bert or RoBERTa instead... maybe coupled with AutoGen for "fine-tuning"...

Maybe „Explain your reasoning step by step“ helps. Phi-2 sounds promising, and who knows what else will be possible in future. But whenever Microsoft is involved, it has a blue screen nimbus/Damocles sword upon.

Where did you get this idea that it takes two people to play chess?😂 That's not at all accurate. You should change your question. Adding that there's no other items in the room doesn't really do anything to help improve the question.
