You can use grab --> special pummel --> f-throw --> grab --> special pummel --> f-throw to then, get another chain grab or dash forward to f-strong to kill at the ledge. This is really good if people try to DI out of the throw or don't read your special pummels, if they are, just throw them normally.
Works with just normal pummel depending on their fall speed, so i just crate this infuryating guessing minigame, i even delay the pummel sometimes to give them time to think on their imput. Is a great oportunity to condition them to try to grab break with attack instead of just mashing special everytime
@@scriggle3564 out of grabs or out of chaingrabs? You can only grab break if your oponent pummels and you guess correctly witch pummel they'll do. If you keep getting regrabed without getting pummeled (while you're yellow) you can just press grab and it will break your opponent's grab. When it comes to chaingrabs you can also DI down or down and away if you are using a fast-falling character, maybe DI up with a super floaty character? Idk, haven't tested, i'm just imaginating. Anyway, you can hit the training room and figure out if a especific chaingrab has scape options
"Why does the airdodge come out so late" Because tumble locks you out of airdodges, same as Melee. You can exit tumble by flicking the left stick, which also lets you land without needing to tech. Or you can press airdodge twice, which does the same thing EDIT: Sorry that one guy was correct, you just need to release the shield button, not tap it twice.
The character coming this winter is likely La Reina (the workshop character). In a previous video Aether Studios mentioned they already started work on the character, including good progress on modeling. (I would love for it to be Sylvanos though)
I'm pretty sure La Reina isn't planned until 2026 based on what they talked about in the Q&A around launch. The 4 characters coming out next year are 2 returning from Rivals 1, a character from the universe that wasn't playable in Rivals 1, and a brand new character designed by Dan himself. I am hyped for La Reina though, she's gonna be sick when they do release her!

Don't quote me on this but iirc they want to put out *new* characters first. Fleet and Lox are new characters but I think they counted them as existing characters because they've already appeared in the story/other games, so there's a good chance we'll see someone completely original.
I have a weird thing where hitstun seems to last forever for me, while others seem like hitstun lasts longer than me. I think it must be that I hold/hit the button before hitstun ends like your chat said.
