Not a huge metal person,. but love noisey garage, Iggy, and Sabbath. Wizard has totally opened my eyes to this rumble shit. For me, this has to be one of the most genuinely heavy things I've ever heard.
@@MrRaptormatt Mhmmmm. Mhmmmm. Let's just say I wouldn't attack people over taste. Missing the point anyaway. You're supposed to be too high to raise fists.
not sure if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can stream all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my gf for the last couple of weeks xD
Saw these guys in Brooklyn and they blew my fucking head off. My friend bailed so I went alone (and left the shrooms home) and it didn’t matter in the slightest. I felt like I was watching a modern day Sabbath but was so bummed my friend missed out on easily one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Oh well, poor bastard!
hell yeah!! my uncle is in Warhorse and he toured with them on this tour from Massachusetts!! Electric Wizard stayed at his house too, too funny. bong rips for the doom masters
i always thought that live recordings of any band sounded better in the early to mid 2000s than the 2010 recordings tbh older recordings sounded heavier and raw while new recordings sound so polished and clean and overproduced
It’s that tape dragging, wearing down and disintegrating with each consecutive play that adds that sludgy heaviness You have to artificially produce that effect in the digital medium
I can't really get into them with Liz in their ranks. Not to take anything away from her. Or maybe I am missing out. I prefer them as a 3 piece as well.
I love the current lineup now with Liz and the current albums. I feel it’s where they’ve always wanted to go. The aesthetics suits them better and makes them unique.
Your options for recording video w/ audio in the 90s would’ve been a camcorder. And in the early 2000s it would’ve been a camcorder. That’s why it looks the same to you Smartphones with high definition cameras were still some years away
I watch my mom’s camcorders of me as a kiddo and even footage from like 2003-2005 looks like it’s been dug out of the late 80s. Time and age are fucking insanely tricky subjects. Watch NFL highlights from 2010 you’ll see a difference in the fidelity even in eleven years.
@@twilightaudioelectronics totally. I wish I could afford a nice marshall jcm800 100 watt! But alas I have to stick with my much cheaper orange cr120 for now lol

Check out Men of Porn!!! Dale Crover from the Melvin's is on drums. Mastodon Entree is a good song to start with them.
Check out “the sword” and their early albums .
Described it perfectly❤ shit rips!
the heaviest band of the universe indeed

they shaved 3 whole minutes off with that killer tempo, really digging this version

Your username sums up my taste haha
the legends themselves. still inspiring doom artist to this day. bless up.
This comment 🤟
this is one of the best songs I have ever heard in my entire life and this live version is badass
Top three bands of all time imo. Spent enough hours listening to this song to build a month or two
They were on the up stuff this night for sure , sizzling and searing tempo.
hell yeah!! my uncle is in Warhorse and he toured with them on this tour from Massachusetts!! Electric Wizard stayed at his house too, too funny. bong rips for the doom masters
Hell yeah doom rules
I never heard this played at this tempo. Interesting...
Love it...its epic
@@MrRaptormatt - Yeah I dig it too.
Bong rips tonight for the masters!!!!
The best lineup of EW, hands down
Those drums.
2001 recordings better than half the footage we get from their concerts nowadays hah, love it all though

Outside them and uncle acid, I'm yet to find any one artist that can proper hype me at the gym
look into crowbar… specifically their album “sonic excess in it’s purest form” guaranteed to help you move some serious weight
try Acid Bath, their album When the Kite String Pops is a metal masterpiece.
knew people were gonna comment Louisiana bands

Fuckn EPIC!!!! Caught them in Philly on this tour... Rock’d my face off.. instant fan that night.
Oh man this is so good.
If you thought that this song couldn't possibly get any heavier... Check this shit
So much better as a 3-piece: more sonic space for the sluggish heavy doom bass.

Liz is great. It’s just that in bands with 2 guitars, bass tends to be less impactful.

Electric wizard till i die!

Damn this is good. where'd you get all this old footage?
eBay back in the day. Got it on VHS

Videos from 2001 look like videos from the 90's to me now. Am I getting old ?
Even worse since tape is better than shltty digital

Woah wait they were allowed to play doom without orange amps? Is this correct?
