Can someone give me some peace of mind and confirm that the nergigange in this quest does more damage and is also more aggressive. He seems to fight more like AT nerg with the chaining dive bombs. Every other time I fought him I’d usually do a 10 min run no faints and just mopped the floor with him but here I’m being 2 hit carted with HB 3 and over 900 def.
God I can't wait for PC release. Hopefully we get a remake of the Rajang/Zinogre/Shagaru fight as dlc or something. (Ik shagaru isn't in game but even a Velkhana or Ruiner Nerg version of that fight would be a good one to test your abilities as the ring is small with two monsters surrounding you in the beginning and then an elder dragon to face off against after the first two die.)

if you do a set dmg to him he will do that attack the dmg needed to that is huge but akantorex is so op that every one of his combos triggered that dmg mark
Aki being a God again as usual. While I have your attention... When you mount a monster ( not grapple ), you know that you jump off of it when you do the weapon attack? You can grapple RIGHT after before you hit the ground. Shits broken if you ask me... Try to have fun with it while it lasts before Capcom probably patches it away. ( Trying to spread the word so more people can use this knowledge )
@@jhammylive I do not unfortunately. But it shouldn't been that hard to pull off. When you continuously stab a monster, the monster while tire out and the hunter will pull out the weapon and knock it down. When you knock it down, the Hunter enters a falling state, hits the ground and slides away. During the falling state, you have an opportunity to grapple unto the monster before touching the ground.

Peh Yeehung the raw damage increases from hr to mr makes atk boost kinda insignificant compared to the Crit eye buff
Even so his PC builds didn't have atk boost 4 too just the same crit skills and that was on high rank .

I unlocked it while having 2* only on blue completion. In the wiki it tells you what specific quests are needed to unlock it.
