I hate this idea. The more two step verifications I need to do the more of a hassle and mess it is to have accounts. Using the internet is becoming a pain in the ass.
google wants me to tag google prompt. how do i do that. I may also have missed a few steps.in the verification process. i dont know how to tag. and i dont see other videos about it.
I prefer to opt in method I'd rather turn 2 factor on myself rather than have a website do it for me Google is not the first use this annoying feature without users permission Yahoo does it all the time. If I want 2 factor on I'll turn it on myself the fact is when I view my account security settings to see it says 2 factor is off is unnerving.
agree I don' like giving my cell phone on gmail as well i never got sent email from google as i heard about this that now i have no choise to use 2 verifcation set up probley they are happy that i did!

I forgot my password, Google is sending a verification code to my phone and even after giving it to me, it is not allowing me to reset my password and not allow me to log in. Google is sending the verification code to the same email address even after giving the code sent to the phone by Google. This is not logical. My email is very important and my email contains very important documents. Please set my current email address to recovery email.
