Feels like a spring wedding, first we saw the flower girls, then the guests then the bride!
How many times will we see a wedding from Virginie …. It was the same for a few years ago ?
Absolutely terrible. This show is getting roasted by the fashion crowd. Chanel even turned off the comments section after and probably during the show. It looks like at the last minute tule was added here there and everywhere and the pink clown outfit was horrible. Who on earth wants to pay thousands for haha couture when it looks like this. Just finished watching Valentino...now that's how you do couture.
I am not with the majority of peoples comments . I for one, loved this collection! In my opinion, this collection is cohesive, lush, proportions are nothing short of genius along with the beautiful, sumptuous textiles. Only left me begging for more! I am very outspoiken and have no issues with communicating my thoughts and ideas.. I don't do begging very well!

I made a tweed skirt in 2019 and I saw the exact same skirt in the CHANEL ready-to-wear collection 2023. Four years later. And I still have it.
Doesn't feel like couture! Feels basic, nothing really special, however I love the long necks! Especially the fabric that climbs up the neck then frills out a tad. Edit** the middle and towards the end of the show, I like the designs much better! Some cute fabrics, mixture of fabrics gives it that little bit extra that was needed. I'm not a fan of feathers but these are done tastefully. The shear fabrics incorporated into the designs are awesome!!

Perché prima di criticare una collezione rivolgendosi agli stilisti, bisogna saper cucire almeno 1/10 delle loro peggiori ricamatrici. E credo che ti toccherà restare qui a criticare per sempre, non avendo neanche la seppur minima nozione di modellistica. Ti rimarrà solo da mettere i like agli short made in China dove appiccicano pezzi di tessuto a caso su un manichino di prova, dicendo quanto sia facile fare un abito in pura plastica.
The only item I really like ist the colourful Jacket ( mostly red hues with dark stripes ).

What a painful experience to watch this fashion show! I guess there is a trend this season in using sheer material, but the designs of many (or most) of the pieces in this collection were just putting different things together, and so often they clashes -- such as structured jacket and sheer flowy skirt, etc. Really really painful to watch!
Oh Gosh, yes! I was going No, No, No! Chanel seems to have lost its way and doesn't know how to make things right again. They were just tossing everything but the kitchen sink in and hoping something would come out. Poor Karl Lagerfeld would be turning in his grave.
Viard has quickly proven herself to be a NO talent after all …
Sorry (not sorry) there is no element of haute couture here, at all. At best a clutter of expensive RTW for rich young girls. This is disturbing and suggests Chanel is in desperation mode. Trying to fit a trend is not the same as setting them. This must be very hard on designers of the major legacy houses who are being forced to create which simply does not work. Very disappointing and very sad.

Greetings from Mexico. I see a total absence of the Chanel seal. The characteristic chains, and its emblematic flower. Absence of accessories. A shoe without design. Few salvageable pieces collected.
Never related so much to an entire collection. Soft, dainty, feminine, free, and simply lovely. I will walk in this show one day Lord willing. 😊
Nothing excite about this collection... I hate to say but this designer doesn't bring same level of creativity as Karl did.
The stated topic of buttons was not covered. Again everything is very random. The presentation of the show is reminiscent of Dior ten years ago, only worse.

I think it's okay, the designs are not the same as HC but it's still luxurious and beautiful enough and it's highly applicable. This time she did better, I like this stage, it has a simple but luxurious and warm feeling

It is clear that Thom Browne is the ideal designer for this new era of Chanel. Avant-garde designs, preserving the essence of the brand, is what this fashion house needs, and Browne is a specialist in it. His work at the most recent MET Gala is proof of this 🖤.
Regardless of what one thinks of the fashion, the presentation (space, flow and music) was on point.
From where Chanel stands today I think it was a mistake to derive inspiration from such an immature source. I'm excited about the direction they're headed in though
