Minecraft manhunt but the Hunters are tormented by the goose from untitled goose game. The runner can command the goose to torment a specific Hunter or any of them. The goose can steal items on hand and armor equipped and run off with them just like it does in game. When the goose has run far enough it will drop the item. But if there's lava or fire or void nearby it will put the item in there. The hunters can damage the goose to make it drop the item on it's beak. The goose will also run at the hunters and if it attacks them it will force the cursor to lock on the goose, making it harder for the hunters. Either after a certain amount of time or if the goose is attacked it will stop. The goose cannot die but it can be attacked.

The problem with chosing Power as the balancing stat is, that it turns into "Kill a hunter in one hit no matter what armor they wear" so in the end, a hunter with no armor and healing is just as dangerous as a hunter with, only weapons and potions adding stuff. They also don't need to worry about damage from using ender pearls and can easily pick up left behind weapons because the runner does not have an inventory space to deny that or the time to burn the stuff. In the end, the only chance the runner has is literally to ignore the hunters and kill the Ender Dragon, which is easier said than done, if it isn't going to ground... Though probably still the best choice for a balancing effect. I mean, I don't know exactly how the minecraft effects work, but defense and health regen would probably be too OP, increased hearts would be too weak, speed would be too janky, Thorns has the same problem as Power, mining speed wouldn't help against the number of people at all... The only thing that might be interesting to try would be a combination, like, Power and Hearts to make it a little bit forgiving or Power and Thorns to lean into the whole Mob of people who instantly die but always return. Of course, these are all just random thoughts that won't amount to anything since it's just a gimmik for a video and there's no reason for them to try and balance patch it like it's a multiplayer video game. But I still find it interesting to think about this stuff.

Twist idea: Minecraft Manhunt, but every end portal is filled in. This will confuse the hunter as the speedrunner won’t even need to enter the nether.
