the bad thing about ir thermometers is, when i point them at myself they explode. hey yo! but seriously the house tip is awesome. you have your 1st kydex order right here, my friend.
Thanks for watching and for the order. if it is for a knife that I already have then you could save some money by not needing to ship it to me to have a sheath made. All of that is on the assumption that I will be good at it.
Is it worth it? What can you say about accuracy ? knock off models fail to accurately read (+-5 degree or more) at the freezing point or above boiling point of water.
This is definitely not a scientific instrument. It's in the price range of being a somewhat accurate tool. I found it to be within several degrees in my testing. Is it worth it? I think it is worth the cost for the person who needs a device like this but they cannot afford the precision models or they don't need pinpoint accuracy.
@@CanadianCuttingEdge Thank you for reply. I'm in the same boat as you are, looking to buy an affordable, fairly accurate measurement tool to double check the temperature of my reflow soldering heat gun. Several degrees accuracy seems to be good for me in this price range.
It is NOT certified to take food temperature readings. BUT, I would totally trust it for home use, just not recommended for a restaurant etc because it's not certified by any health or food safety organization that I know of.

Yes you can but it is not super accurate for that use. Even the no contact ones they use at airports and such are not very accurate
HOW CAN YOU CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR THIS THERMAL SCANNER?
You could put rechargable batteries in it, if you want.
May i know, this thermometer can measure for food safety?

Yes, I just used it last week.
Can use for ic or circuit board test points ?
I don't think it is precise enough for that task
whether this thermometer can check the temperature of the human body

yes it can check body temperature quite well. BUT it is not certified to do that job
