      More Polish soldiers from the First Polish Army died in the battle for the Czerniakowski Bridgehead than in the famous Battle of Monte Cassino. Soviet soldiers also died there. pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C5%82yta_Desantu_3_Dywizji_Piechoty

      @@aarontherebelhistorian I would like to share with you an amazing story that happened literally two days ago. I am a Pole, and - as most Poles are - a Roman Catholic, at least nominally ;). My surname is definitely Polish, although not very popular. A few years ago I googled my name and had one amazing hit: a boy named Mordechai from New York. I told this to my son, who, as is the custom in our family, dug into the subject and sent me an even more astonishing find - a list of 75 namesakes from the Holocaust Survivors and Victims Database, most of them, judging by their first names, evidently of Jewish origin. I wonder now what my roots were like...

    Something similar to mass executions during Warsaw uprising 1944, did Russians during polish -russian war in 4th November 1794. Russian troops murdered around 20 000 citizens of Warsaw, including children, pets, and breeding animals.

    We walk that road now, and we done it for many years.

    est-il vrai que les Allemands ont gazé le réseau de tunnels souterrains qui permettaient notamment à des enfants de servir de messagers entre deux points de soulèvement ? je suis française et historienne, mes grands-pères et arrière-grand- pères ont fait les deux Guerres Mondiales. je souhaite vous remercier pour le travail que vous faites et qui m'inspire

    • @nicku1
      @nicku1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Les Allemands jetaient du carbure dans les égouts qui, combiné à de l'eau, dégageait le gaz inflammable et suffocant acétylène, ils versaient aussi de l'essence dans les égouts et lançaient des grenades. Non seulement les enfants de servir de messagers se sont déplacés dans les égouts, mais des unités entières d'insurgés ont été évacuées des quartiers occupés par les Allemands. Je recommande un long métrage choquant d'un réalisateur polonais bien connu, Andrzej Wajda, Kanal - très proche d'un film documentaire. J'utilise un traducteur, désolé d'avance pour la mauvaise traduction.

      that's the thing, the Soviet army helped Poland, the USSR army simply did not have time to reach Warsaw at that time to help the rebels, because of what? Because of the supply, the USSR army went too far on the offensive, which is why the supply did not keep up with the army and supply problems began
