This is so true. you have to exert extra effort and patience if you're planning to buy ANY Huawei products. Extra cautious too when downloading apps. I've been using Huawei Nova 7SE for 2 yrs now. I must say that I'm contented even until now with how fast and smooth my apps are running and there are less issues about lagging unlike my previous android phones still, be cautious. I'm not as techy as most of you but, I only bought it bc I thought it was a perfect phone for me at that time hahahaha.
At first, Yung access to Google services Ang problem ko (but thankfully nagka Gspace). Ang sunod ay Yung lag/hang/automatically closed Ang apps. Then Yung network data to work ay need pa i-restart Ang cp more than 5 times para gumana.😔

Though I have been an avid flagship user of Huawei (from Mate 7 up to Mate 30Pro), I am now at a point if I will purchase Mate 50Pro which I've been constantly looking at every Huawei store I go to. Huawei has issues with banking app esp BPI and it cannot connect to Android Auto. Being the basic user that I am, I loved Huawei because of its durability, winner talaga. But since this time dumarami ang red flags especially to the apps I need most then I have to take a break until it can serve me better again. Thanks again for this very clear and honest review.

Oke naman Huawei basta marunong lang humanap ng solution like pano maka access ng gms pero not recommended talaga sa mga may edad na like mama ko gustong mag Huawei dahil malaki storage pero naiisip ko palang pag install ng fb for sure ma ha hassle na sya jusk. Napabilib din ako sa Huawei kasi way back month after buying y7a nagka Ron ng screen bleed but after a couple of software updates kasi palagi silang may updates ayun na wala til now mag 2 yrs na ata to sakin. Super bilis din mag charge 1hr lang full batt na.

Sobra honest ni STR. Currently using nova 9 and i intended to uninstall gspace at gbox sobrang nakaka drain ng battery then now I'm using lighthouse, which is kinda better between the previous mentioned apps.

Definitely a YES for techies like me. Been using Huawei flagships for almost 5 years. From Mate 10 Pro to Mate 20 Pro to Nova 9 to P40 Pro, all I can say is that Huawei handsets are build to last and very dependable. And like Sir STR mentioned, it is not really easy to recommend to those na di mahilig mag explore ng phone cause they will surely find it difficult to settle for a Huawei device. I've tried different newer brands but Huawei pa rin talaga. ❤️😊

Bought a secondhand nova 7i last week after ma deadboot yung poco x3 pro ko. I'm satisfied naman, at first medyo hassle dahil kelangan mo pa mag download ng mga 3rd party app like g space pero after non halos same nalang ang experience sa mga smartphone ngayon. Feel ko pa nga parang nag upgrade ako ng phone from my poco x3 pro

Although Meron na syang Gspace (download via hwawei app) pero di pa Rin madaling inavigate pag sanay ka sa google phones. Di Rin recommended for gaming (Lalo na if you play ML o any big graphics online games) kasi bigla maghahang and magrerestart ka o babalik ka sa home screen bigla while playing then. Pag network data use mo for net, need mo more than 5 times need mo restart cp mo para gumana Yung sim data. Nova 8i Ang use ko.

Napaka helpful ng content na ito sa mga balak bumili ng Huawei phones pero sana i-consider nalang muna nila yung ibang brands kasi kahit ako, medyo hirap talaga mag setup nung gumamit ako ng Huawei na walang GMS.
I'm a huawei user but I don't have any issues using it. And nova 9 gamit Ko and luckily walang bloat ware unit na nabili Ko kagaya nung kay sir. 😀Pero totoo yun na dapat well informed ka sa mga extra apps and extra effort para makagamit ka ng google dependent apps..
Workarounds are fine for some apps, but unfortunately if you are also using it in navigation like google maps and waze via android auto is really a deal breakers. Too bad huawei mate 50 pro is one of the best phones when it comes to performance and photos. :'(

Na appreciate ko ang honesty ni STR. Kabibili ko lang ng Huawei Matepad 11 PaperMatte Edition. Maganda sana sya, looks-and-feel-wise, pero sakit sa ulo ang functionality ng apps na hindi galing sa AppGallery. Nagkakaproblema tuloy ako ngayon sa work apps ko.

I bought huawei nova 7i i believe 2 to 3 years ago. When i first bought this sa SM Mall mind you pandemic pa to, sira ang lcd, para mareplace ung phone from Cavite nag antay kame sa Festi ng whole day just for replacement. Napakabagal ng customer service nila dahil madameng ginagawa. Malakeng impact din wala silang google esp if gamer ka. All in all di na ako bibili ulit ng huawei based sa experience. Maganda pa din tong huawei nova 7i ko despite na 2 to 3 yrs old na siya pero ung inconvenience niya dahil walang google mahirap.
Huawei Y9 (2019) ang gamit ko at maganda parin, wlang pag babago. kagandahan kc ng huawei mayron silang replacement na original like LCD, battery, at original body case nya. Tapos mura at laging nag sasale mga gamit nila. Based yan sa experience ko. I also have Huawei mate 40pro ok nman kahit wla akong google. Depende na yan sa gumagamit.

Ang Swerte ko nalang talaga sa Unit ko na P30 lite. May Playstore and ala akong problema sa Update na Emui 12, Wala din ako nung mga floating ads. Sobrang Sulit din ng mga chipset nila Hilsilicon kirin700 still kicking👌 3years old na siya pero di parin ako napapahiya sa performance.

I'm using P50 pro, pero wala naman issue with Gbox. Na download ko lahat ng applications na binanggit niyo sir like Fossil without any error. I don't know ano issue, pero try to uninstall Gbox and redownload sa website nila. Before, Gspace user ako, pero nung nalaman ko yung Gbox, mas comfortable ako dito, una walang ads, second mas smooth yung apps sa Gbox compared to Gspace. Btw, nice review sir, as always :)))
I got Huawei and ditched it because my work relied heavily on Google services. If you don't need google services, Huawei works just fine. The hardware is superb.

3 Huawei phones ang ginamit ko bago ako nag palit ng brand dahil sa Google service. Comparing it to Xiaomi na gamit ko ngayon, dami bloatware at bug ng Xiaomi di tulad sa Huawei ko na napaka bilis pa rin at Mas maganda ang screen even though both sila amoled. Till now gumagana pa mga Huawei devices ko. Pero ang Xiaomi ang bagal na dahil sa bugs.

My First Flagship Phone is Huawei Y6P 2020 I just Upgraded my Phone and I chose Huawei which is Huawei Nova 11i coz its Hardware is decent and battery last long and its durable. The only issues is no google play which unfortunately I cant install my Fav. Game requiring Google play but still okay I can still access my Important apps like Gmail, etc.

I'm a huawei user but I don't have any issues using it. And nova 9 gamit Ko and luckily walang bloat ware unit na nabili Ko kagaya nung kay sir. 😀Pero totoo yun na dapat well informed ka sa mga extra apps and extra effort para makagamit ka ng google dependent apps..

Workarounds are fine for some apps, but unfortunately if you are also using it in navigation like google maps and waze via android auto is really a deal breakers. Too bad huawei mate 50 pro is one of the best phones when it comes to performance and photos. :'(

Super smooth parin. Tagal parin malobat, ang bilis mag charge. Never nag-lagging.. Kung sa google naman ang issue, nagagamit ko naman lahat ng apps na gusto kong apps. Kakalikutin mo pang talaga.. Para sa google naman bumili ako ng worth 7k na android phone as my secondary phone para sa google support.. And im planning to buy again a HUAWEI nova 10 pro this week.. Loyal huawei user here 🥰
Na appreciate ko ang honesty ni STR. Kabibili ko lang ng Huawei Matepad 11 PaperMatte Edition. Maganda sana sya, looks-and-feel-wise, pero sakit sa ulo ang functionality ng apps na hindi galing sa AppGallery. Nagkakaproblema tuloy ako ngayon sa work apps ko.
HUAWEI NOVA 3i 2nd phone ko na lang now. dating primary, sobrang tibay nakailang hulog na sa anak ko at iniinstallan ng kahit anong app smooth at di pa dn nagbabago ang performance even battery hndi bumilis sa paglobat like the usual phones pag tumagal. (may playstore pa din sya since 2017 sya nabili)

I bought huawei nova 7i i believe 2 to 3 years ago. When i first bought this sa SM Mall mind you pandemic pa to, sira ang lcd, para mareplace ung phone from Cavite nag antay kame sa Festi ng whole day just for replacement. Napakabagal ng customer service nila dahil madameng ginagawa.
Malakeng impact din wala silang google esp if gamer ka.
All in all di na ako bibili ulit ng huawei based sa experience. Maganda pa din tong huawei nova 7i ko despite na 2 to 3 yrs old na siya pero ung inconvenience niya dahil walang google mahirap.

Huawei Y9 (2019) ang gamit ko at maganda parin, wlang pag babago. kagandahan kc ng huawei mayron silang replacement na original like LCD, battery, at original body case nya. Tapos mura at laging nag sasale mga gamit nila. Based yan sa experience ko. I also have Huawei mate 40pro ok nman kahit wla akong google. Depende na yan sa gumagamit.

Ang Swerte ko nalang talaga sa Unit ko na P30 lite. May Playstore and ala akong problema sa Update na Emui 12, Wala din ako nung mga floating ads. Sobrang Sulit din ng mga chipset nila Hilsilicon kirin700 still kicking👌 3years old na siya pero di parin ako napapahiya sa performance.

Sony flagship user ako dati. Nag lipat ako ng huawei flagship and i'm using now huaweip30pro mag 4years ko na ginagamit and wala pa ko may nakitang problem. 😊 soon to upgrade to mate50pro. D rin issue sakin ang walang google at walang 5g. Yung p30pro ko walang 5g pero nag rarange speed internt ng 300mbps okay na sakin yun

If I spend 40, 50K on a phone, I should not have to do some workarounds just to use it as I intended. Unfortunately for Huawei, lacking of Google services is a major drawback.

I'm using P50 pro, pero wala naman issue with Gbox. Na download ko lahat ng applications na binanggit niyo sir like Fossil without any error. I don't know ano issue, pero try to uninstall Gbox and redownload sa website nila. Before, Gspace user ako, pero nung nalaman ko yung Gbox, mas comfortable ako dito, una walang ads, second mas smooth yung apps sa Gbox compared to Gspace.

I got Huawei and ditched it because my work relied heavily on Google services. If you don't need google services, Huawei works just fine. The hardware is superb.

3 Huawei phones ang ginamit ko bago ako nag palit ng brand dahil sa Google service. Comparing it to Xiaomi na gamit ko ngayon, dami bloatware at bug ng Xiaomi di tulad sa Huawei ko na napaka bilis pa rin at Mas maganda ang screen even though both sila amoled. Till now gumagana pa mga Huawei devices ko. Pero ang Xiaomi ang bagal na dahil sa bugs.

di ko sure kung sa google play store ba yong problema o sa huawei mismo o sa smartphone na gamit ko mismo, huawei y6 2018 pa to na may 2gb/16gb na variant, at kapag nag iinstall at update din ako ng apps, tulad sa zoom last time, hindi nag i-install, sinubukan ko mag clear ng space, don lang nakapag update ng apps, siguro sa storage capacity yong problem sa phone ko, pero overall, the content was great, pinag iisipan ko rin kung dapat pa ba ko bumili ng huawei phones ngayon, mukhang alam ko na ang sagot hahahha

My First Flagship Phone is Huawei Y6P 2020 I just Upgraded my Phone and I chose Huawei which is Huawei Nova 11i coz its Hardware is decent and battery last long and its durable. The only issues is no google play which unfortunately I cant install my Fav. Game requiring Google play but still okay I can still access my Important apps like Gmail, etc.

been using huawei and ios since 2018 pero for me, mas convenient gamitin si huawei, im using huawei p20 nang ngshift ako for huawei mate 30 pro, keri lang naman yung google apps installations and now am using huawei mate 50 pro. if iri rate ko, 10/10. walang naging problema. overly satisfied ako sa performance lalo na sa camera... ios? naaaaa...

hindi problema ang Huawei kung alam mo i access ang mga services na naka web format, same lang sa pagamit ng laptop or computer.Mga nasanay lang sa app version ang mamroblema nyan.
