I haven't been diagnosed but this runs on my family. My right eye is cloudy all the time. Its been like that for the last year. It started out with me seeing halos for years, then it slowly got foggy. Im scared for the other eye. Because sometimes that eye is foggy in the morning.

I’m guessing you could have it, so see an eye doctor to find out ❤

I wake up from time to time with one eye burry/cloudy. It usually lasts all day and sometimes two days. It does it in both eyes, just not at tge same time. It will usually happen in one eye about every month. I just had an exam and i have 20/20 vision, but i feel as I can't see as well as i did when i eas younger. Thats to be expected being tgat im 53 now. But i don't understand what is causing this blurry/cloudy vision in one eye that lasts all day.

Out of 6 children, only my brother and I have Fuch's dystrophy.

Hi Dr…….my right eye is as you described. I see very clearly with my left and from what I can tell there is no cloudiness. As you mentioned my right eye is quite cloudy and generally clears up by mid afternoon. I use saline drops however not sure if they do anything. I am under the care of a specialist with a yearly check up. I decided to maintain status quo given I have no issues other than cloudiness more in the morning. Do you have any stats as to how long one could avoid replacement? That is if my right eye stays as is would be fine to wait until it becomes uncomfortable. I know it’s a personal decision. Just curious as to your thoughts. Thank you!

The progression of FED is unique to every patient. Careful follow up is crucial.
