@3:03 BrickLink does mention it. If you open up the set’s inventory and scroll all the way down, there is a category for Alternate Items, which often pertains to when two identical boxes may contain differing contents. This could be due to problems arising mid-production such as a part being retired or a mass production error being remedied, or it could be due to intentional chance chase items such as CMFs or the Harry Potter pentagonal tiles. The inventory for the set was last updated one day prior to this video’s release, so the site did already know about it.
I bought the semi-rare set 7884 fully completed aside from mr freeze's helmet which can be like 10 bucks for a new one. Somehow i managed to find one online for 5 bucks!
This same thing happened with an old AT-ST, where lego was in the middle of retiring a piece and introducing a new one. In that case, the new mould didnt fit properly therefore making the set unbuildable, so you're lucky your case was completeable
Never had this experience myself, although I did have a struggle getting a missing part from Lego when the missing piece didn't appear in the piece inventory...
I'm considering trying to piece together my Jango Fett Slave 1 set from 2002. Pretty sure many of the parts are still at my parent's house, but I do have the super expensive Jango Fett figure 😁

I had the exact problem with the exact same piece in red in a city rescue helicopter
@@MyOwnChannel92 must have been something they were updating when that new piece came out!

@@BDD_Builds nice! You should do it! I don’t regret piecing back together my old sets!
