And it was a challenge for Dani (daughter) and Sherry (Mom) as they try to fix an antique armoire that came in pieces and give it an update without using any harsh chemicals or oil-based products.... not so easy with mahogany wood that bleeds taninns.

Thanks, Sarah! Yes, so happy we found that sanding sealer. We never even heard of it but it just kind of jumped off the Home Depot shelf and seems to have sealed up all those tannins. Yay!!!🤗

This turned out beautiful ladies! Evening out the tone of the grain worked so well. So much sanding and the effort was well worth it. The heat has me racing inside earlier every day too, stay cool and hydrated! Can't wait to see the final look on IG!

I have a theory about the dark stain over beautiful wood! I think the final coat sucks up the stain over the decades and becomes one coat over time.
😮 You may be on to something, Cat!! It must have something to do with the aging process!
