Thanks brother and may you live long ! You solved my problem, I was not able to disassemble the firing pen. But you told me that first push the rear sight and then remove the retaining pen that hold the firing pen.
I would love some more videos in these guns ! I think these are one of the coolest old pistols. If they can function nicely without failure to ejects etc. one being it's a 1911 and the other being it's 9mm. And old and Spanish ! 👍🏻
Thank you for the video. It was really helpful and great as a reference. I picked up some springs from Wolff and needed to find out how to replace the firing pin spring. I have a German Contract Star B manufactured in 1944 and two more I just picked up with my C & R. Great pistols and loads of fun to shoot.
Excellent video. Great pacing so that I didn’t have to pause it too often and helpful explanations on which end of a pin goes where, etc. I also appreciate your assembly video as I’m the wrong guy to tell “reassembly is the opposite of disassembIy”. I just finished breaking down my “B” in preparation for the rust bluing process. I will be following your instructions on that job as well.
Magnifica explicación. Poseo este modelo en España y nunca me había atrevido a desmontarlo. Tras ver su video lo haré sin problemas ya que le toca un nuevo pavonado. Muchas gracias
This video help superbly with the dissy. of my star ps 45. The problem i have (not your video) is removing the pin for the trigger. I have tapped strongly on both sides, but with no prevail. This suckered won't budge. The extractor pin was a pain as well. I'm gonna cleaner though, as is. All other pieces are removed. Thanks for your patience for taking time out of you busy life to help others. God bless
I am glad the video helped. How does the trigger pin look on yours? Any indication that it may have rusted in place? Maybe try penetrating oil next time.
@@MosinVirus most gun pin holes are a straight hole, some are staked at the left side so they dont walk, out, on this pistol or other lower end guns, it doesnt matter, but its a good habbit to get into, 90% of US done dove tail sights are cut to be installed right to left, and removed left to right, again, on this pistol, it has a large head pin holding the firing pin in place, so you can push the rear sight out right to left, so the pin can be removed without the sight being totally removed, you can destroy a sight dovetail by pushing the wrong way, learned this lesson the hard way myself, on a Colt, 1911.. good luck with all your projects
I would love to see you do a series of videos about a model B build. I know it would be similar to a 1911, but the smaller size of the Star would prevent challenges of its own
Muy buena explicación del desarme de la Star modelo B, paso a paso de como quitar las piezas..!! Muy buen documental..!! Excelente video..!! Saludos..!!
Great Job on the Video. I use to shoot these and the Super B with the Spainish Militay in Spain. I just picked on a MOD B and Super B. The Bod B was made in 1940 and at 75 Feet all 8 rounds in the 4 In Spread. The Super made in 1970 About the same a little better. These guns were also used as US .45 Props in the Moves. Very dependable and hard to miss with. With self defense ammo. Great for the Ladies in a home security role.
Turns out that with the Super B model you have to remove the magazine release button to remove the trigger. Simple to do. There is a small screw mounted in the right side of the magazine release button. While holding the release button fully compressed from the left side you turn the small screw 1/8th turn counter clockwise. This locks it compressed and allows it to be pushed to the right out of the pistol. Now the trigger can be pushed backwards and out.
I know this was a long time ago, but thank you very much for this excellent tutorial. I have a Ballester Molina pistol which has the same (i think) firing mechanism and needed to see how the trigger assembly worked. I assume its the same as the star model B. Well done.
Hi, your video on disassembling the Firestar 9mm is the best I have seen. You mentioned a complete reassembling video but I was not able to locate it. Could you please direct me to it so I can view it. Thank you.
Much of your process relates to my Star B Super 9mm Luger. I have complaints with light hammer strikes and have been advised that should replace hammer spring. I have spent several days on internet attempting to locate hammer spring with no success. Thought I would just clean existing spring and the area where it rests. Can the hammer spring be removed "easily" without removing trigger, safety, sear, etc.? Thanks much! Uncle Ron
I picked up two of these from JG with my C&R two days ago. One shoots fantastically well, the other has FTE problems every 2-3 rounds. Cleaned off the cosmoline and every part with the guidance of this vid. Thank you. I realized the problem is probably in the barrel. It is cut for a longer shell, perhaps the original 9mm largo it was intended for. I measure the difference to be about 4mm longer. Which makes it chambered for 9x23 Largo.
joe smith Take out the barrel (disarm), insert a round in the chamber and see if it seats deeper than normal. Tap the barrel upside down to see of your round continues to go in further. Then flip upright and see if your round falls out freely. If it doesn't, you have a Largo barrel. Basically, it gets inserted deep and tight that the extractor has issue with extraction. The fix is to buy a 9mm Parabellum barrel. i couldn't find one so i made an insert spacer cut out from another steel 9mm shell. this is at your own risk. see my post on calguns dot net. same user name.
Bank you for the video I have AFI model D380 that I need to replace the hammer. The previous owner had cut the tip off the hammer to make it easier to draw from his pocket. I don't like this option and want to replace the hammer and wondered if I had to take it all apart or could I just take out enough pieces to get the hammer out of there and slide the new one in? Bank you for any light you can shed on my situation and thank you for the video it was helpful even though it's not the same pistol it was similar enough that what you did I did to get as far apart as I did.
Honestly I don't remember it well enough. I sold it a while ago. But it may not be possible or easy to simply replace the hammer without removing other parts in the way.
@@MosinVirus i almost did it after tying the hammer spring down to lessen the tension during install of the new hammer. the long thin metal piece slipped off. now it seems i will have to remove the seer. thank you very much for the reply !
Thank you for the helpful video. I like to strip new purchases asap. Good thing I did since the extractor was gummed up. It has some carry wear so I may give it a potassium nitrate bath soon. If the old plastic grips bug you Sarco is selling unfinished walnut Super B grips for $17.
Another Truly Awesome Disassembly Video! I guess I need to Read up on the Star Model B. I had A Remington Rand-pistol that I traded on a new Ruger 357 Blackhawk . Wish I would have kept it now.
I know what you mean. From playing around with this Star it seems that the pistol should be pretty good. I am worried about shooting it with its recoil spring because it seems to be too light/weak. I don't want to have the slide slamming back hard, so ordered some heavier springs for CZ75. I believe they are same diameter, etc.
I took possession of mine today. The slide release of mine looks like the 1911 release. The barrel bushing looks different. There is a hole that the spring plunger fits into. I’m trying to find another disassembly video that shows my variant. Good video though. I suspect about 95% applies to mine.
@@acoow right, it sounded like you had a BM. I actually pinned a comment from a viewer in the Reassembly video, where they linked to a page with BM instructions.

Hello. I cannot get a Super B here in CA. Is your magazine release made like the 1911? Where you have a screw head on the right side? Send me pictures at Mosin.Virus@gmail.com and i will try to help.
This was the closest video I could find for how to remove the extractor for my Firestar. It looks easy with a brass punch. I can't get the thing to budge with a steel punch and upped from small hammer to small ball peen.
@@MosinVirus Not yet🤯. Mine looks very similar to yours yet it will not drive out. The 1/16" steel pin punch finally bent. It broke trying to straighten it. I switched to a 1/16" drill bit shank held with small vise grips. Part of the drill bit shank finally broke. I think it has budged ever so slightly. With the amount of force that's been applied it should have driven out. The slide stated with being on a firm surface to held in a drill press vise in leather soft jaws on a hard surface. It's currently being soaked with a penetrating fluid over night. Considering the amount of force that has been used, I can see I'm driving the pin correctly. There's no collateral damage. I know what you must be thinking and this isn't the first time I've done something like this. I'm telling you, that pin is 🤬 stuck.
@@CrawldaBeast sometimes they are very stuck. Unless the pins are one directional, they can sometimes be penned over. In some cases rust could cause a mechanical lock. Perhaps the pin was glued in somehow.
@@MosinVirus I'm happy to say the pin has been out and back in now a few times for fitting and spring adjustment. Turns out, I wad driving the pin punch into the peen mark and not the pin. I decided to drive the pin a little deeper to see if it would move. When I saw it poking out slightly, the light went on. Got that done last night a took it to the range today. It's good to have my Firestar back.
Excellent! The other night I gave up trying to remove the trigger on my Star Model B Super for polishing. Now I know I was on the right track, just didn't know to push straight back on it. Thanks so much for making this video! BTW...the model B and Super B have a few differences but the internals seem to be the same.
@@MosinVirus Thanks! I don’t have it yet but I really like the slightly narrower dimensions on the model B, compared to the 1911. Looks really classy, but I just love the 1911 grip angle so much that I don’t think I’d want to keep the hump.
Great video. Do you NEED to take out the firing pin etc before taking out the extractor ? Mine had some fails to eject the spent round. Trying to fix the problem and thinking maybe take out the extra tire for cleaning and check the spring etc. any tips ? Also ordered a Wolff recoil spring to see if that helps
joe smith no, you don't need to remove the firing pin to remove the extractor. You should remove it and check for gunk in the channel and under the extractor and check the extractor claw for damage
At 22:18 where the thumb safety engages in the slide. Looks almost like a small chunk is missing on the slide v groove is this normal? My buddy has one and his looks almost like a crack but its not. They grind the v groove so deep that it hits rail slot.
I'm trying to access the firing pin on a Star B. I've drenched the rear sight with Sea Foam penetrating oil for 48 hours and put the slide into my Sightpusher handgun sight tool and put the whole combination into my work vice and torqued it to 110 ft-lbs and the sight hasn't moved. I'm afraid that something is going to break if I put a cheater bar on the torque wrench. Any suggestons?
You may damage the slide. Try using a punch and make sure to go right to left. Sometimes impact is more effective than pushers. If the firing pin is not damaged and moves freely, and you cannot move the sight, I would leave it. If you absolutely have to get to the firing pin, you can also try heat and then punch.
@@MosinVirus Thank you for your response and I really like your videos. I suspect that the firing pin is broken as it does not mark the primer during firing. So I followed your advice and used a hammer and a brass punch (1/4") but stopped when I noticed that the punch tip started to mushroom and the sight wasn't budging. I am reluctant to heat the slide as I know nothing about this technique so I guess I'm going to just quit on this project. Thanks again for your assistance.
Where is your assembly video? Sure would like to see how you compressed the hammer spring . Compressing the hammer spring against the hammer and installation of the pin is difficult. I won't give in though.
Thanks for the video. I just bought a Star BM and need to take it apart and you’re video is really going to help. I’m not a gunsmith but i would love to maybe reblue it or just clean it up good but I’m not sure what to exactly use to remove blemishes and scratches.
My pleasure. What process to use to refinish depends on the condition of the pistol. Some really deep pitting, gauges, etc need to be filled in by welding.
Thank you for this video I have a start model bm an I'm duracoating the frame and slide in metallic sunrise bronze. I too love the look of the case hardened hammer I wish they did the trigger to. Is they're any way to mimic that look? I thought about just applying heat to it.
thanks for your follow up and i sent you a photo of 9mm firestar partially assembled now unable to move slide..i believe i pushed in the pin at the wrong time..not sure
I've been flip flopping back and forth between the Tokarev and Star as my next project pistol. It's a bummer you have to drift out the rear sight to remove the firing pin! Ever think about doing a side by side comparison/ pro/con video of surplus pistols?
Thanks for watching. I think I like the Star a little more than the TT 33, probably because of a much better grip angle on the Star, however, I haven't shot the Star yet. I haven't considered making comparison videos because I believe they would be too subjective.
FYI...I ordered a replacement slide spring from Wolff springs. Their website has two springs listed, one for a 9mm Parabellum and one for a 9mm Carcano. The Carcano spring has a larger diameter. The site asks you to measure your spring before ordering. I found I had the larger Carcano spring and spring guide rod in my Super B chambered for 9mm P. I ordered the Carcano spring wondering if it would be too stiff and I would have to cut a few coils off. Turns out the 9mm Parabellum pistol works fine with the 9mm Carcano spring. No ejection problems at all. All's well that ends well!
Minor differences such as the mag release that you mentioned. The trigger has two plungers for top and bottom of the spring. Can also remove the ejector block. The magazine disconnect pretty much falls out left to right. I found only the sear pin and hammer pin preferred right to left. The rest no taper. Actually would almost move freely on the trigger pin! Hope this helps anybody with the star bm that may be confused
I have a Star Super B 9mm that is pretty much a toy now as the extractor is damaged and I CANNOT get the extractor retaining pin in the slide to even budge a millimeter. Tried every punch known to man, soaking it in solvent, etc. Will not budge. Any ideas?
I just received my first Star BM today and am planning to strip and re-blue it. Using your very informative video it appears to be pretty straight forward. However I quickly ran into an issue. The safety lever appears to be stuck in the gun. After moving it to about the 11:00 position it will push out roughly 1/8” and seems to be trapped in the slot you showed but will go no further. Even using a brass punch to drive out the pin from the back does nothing. I was wondering if you had ever experienced anything similar.
Is there any chance you would do a video of the Star BM disassembly? They are very popular now. I can’t get the safety lever out out of the frame. I also suspect the thumb safety spring may be bent because it is literally stuck but the plunger pops off fine.
Then buy one... theyre literally $189-220 everywhere plus youll get shit ton of views if you did a complete disassembly which might get you some youtube monetization

Great information! During your disassembly, you mentioned that the "guys that made the instructions must have actually known what they were doing" . Do you happen to know where I might find a manual or some instructions for the star 45 PS model? That's what I have and info seems to be pretty scarce. I can't get my sights off. I tried with a lot of force, but I can't get it. and I need to get it off so I can't change my firing pin that's broken. what do I do.?
@@MosinVirus yea. I'm trying to push from the side that the pin(that needs to come out) is on. Tbh I tried both sides. Nothing, won't even budge ½ of a mm 🤬. WD40 might work I assume.?
Can you push the firing pin forward with a brass punch? If so, try also directing the back of the firing pin away from where the retaining pin was when you let it come back to the rear. Also, the channel could simply be dirty. Try cleaning it out wirh some cleaner.
@@MosinVirus hey yes I finally got it fixed. I sprayed gun cleaner/lube around and in the area. Let it sit. And slowly pushed it back n forth with a brass punch. Thank you. Now I realize that the magazine isn't sitting flush and.its causing failure to feed. Good ol military surplus. Thanks again and I'm going to subscribe
Sorry I called it a plunger in my video. I believe it was the spring plug that I referred to as a plunger and I believe that is what you are talking about - the spring plug that retains the recoil spring in the slide, correct? If so, make sure the shoulder of the spring plug is not hitting the flange of the barrel bushing. Can you try pushing the spring plug deeper into the slide?
+MosinVirus My extratctor looks fine, no dirt but continues to have fail to extract problems...these mags can be picky...noticed lots of space in the mag with 9mm causing nosediving Great Videos!!!
+SVT40guido I'm having the same problem with rounds nose diving but it seems to be only on the first or second shot of a fully loaded magazine. If you load six or less it doesn't do it which leads me to beleave less spring pressure might resolve the problem. I think I'll cut off one loop from a mag spring and see what effect it has.
+bilzplace Thanks for the info...looks like this is a common problem, these springs were changed by the Soviet arsenals so the pressure is different. I'll let you know if the Norinco 213 spring works...I think the follower will be a big improvement as it is longer for the round to stay straight....cheers
Any suggestions on how I can get or mould frame, my state wont allow a gun, fucking gun law so I want to build mine it’s only eBay that ships to my state but eBay don’t have frame only kits thanks in advance
Hello and sorry about your local gun laws. However, if that is the law I would advise not breaking it. Instead, go for the next best thing you are allowed to legally have for self defense.
Mosin, Would you be able to demonstrate the disassembly of a Star BM 9mm, or at least how to take apart the captive recoil spring assembly? Many of us are obtaining these pistols of late and it would sure to be a popular video. Thanks, Mike Goldstein
Hi Mike. Sorry but I dont have one to make a video from. The front head of the guide rod unscrews from the rest. You need to pull the spring back and grab the exposed shaft with pliers (use leather or something under the pliers jaws to prevent marring the shaft. Unscrew the head, then slowly release the spring.
Excellent video. Interesting that some of the changes from the original John Browning design actually make disassembly more difficult. I have been considering getting one of the Star pistols for some time, and this video will help me make my decision. Thanks!
@MosinVirus, Sir I recently purchased a Star BM9 model and I am through all the steps of disassembly but the sear spring will NOT come out of the back. I am not sure how to remove it. It looks like that there is a 1/16 inch rod at the bottom but no matter how much lubrication & force I use it will not budge. Do you know how to remove the final part?
The pin doesn't need to be taken out of the frame. The sear spring bottom has a "scoop" like shape that goes around the pin. You should be able to maneuver the sear spring from under that pin by letting the top of the spring come forward into the magwell, then moving the bottom of the spring up toward the top of the frame and past the pin.
7:30 to 8:41. Those pieces that hold and release the mag, the button, the spring, and the back piece fell off my firearm. Does anybody know where I can find a replacement?
Caesar Seriona I don't know the actual official names but the part that actually locks and releases magazines could be called Magazine Catch or Magazine Release. the spring is that and the other side could be called Magazine Release button.
I have the Super A and I am trying to replace the broken firing pin. I am trying to get that back sight to move sideways and the rear sight is not coming off AT ALL. Got any pointers?
I don't see anything different from your rear sight other than mine has a painted (very faded) dot recess to help aim. It's very possible no one has ever removed this bit before from this gun. Edit: No it is not staked.
I've been soaking it in Seafoam for over 24 hrs and got a brass punch. It still not moving. I even tried flipping it over and trying the other way. I think I might need some kind of solvent because someone might have tried some kind of glue? Is it possible the pin under the sight has gotten loose or was pushed up and is keeping the sight from moving?
Great job! Thank you so much for your professionally done videos. They are very helpful and very much appreciated. I have almost all your videos saved in my You Tube library of videos. You do a phenomenal job with your videos; please, continue to post your excellent videos, and, by the way, would you be open to requests?
I have a stuck hammer and I'm too afraid to take this all the way down. I'm a brand new user so do you recommend I take it to a gun shop or is this a simple thing to do?
+MosinVirus i have the same pistol, probably from the 70' or 80's not to sure but anyways your barrel busshing at the end is different than mine idk why thats weird
+MosinVirus the barrel bushing at the end is one solid pice and the plunger on the spring is allot smaller....also my barrel doesn't have a little link like yours does where yours has the little link mine has a hook that looks like a "C"...it's marked for 9mm para but will only cycle properly with longer 9mm like the winchester fmj's hollow points just nose dive and jam.
+SVT40guido +SVT40guido if the casing never comes out of the barrel when the slide comes back that would be a failure to extract, and it is usually caused by a damaged extractor or dirt under the extractor. Take the extractor out and clean the extractor slot and the extractor first. Inspect the extractor claw. if there is no dirt and claw is ok, reinstall the extractor and put a live round by hand on the breach face under the extractor. does the extractor grab the round, or can you easily move the round forward away from the breach face and overcome the extractor? If extractor loses the grip easily, it might be a spring problem. If the spent casing gets pulled out of the barrel but not enough to get thrown out, that would be a failure to eject. the casing could get stuck against the ejection port as the slide goes forward. this could be caused by limp wristing the gun, or by broken ejector, or by using recoil buffers, or by having a stronger recoil spring installed.
+MosinVirus Thanks for the help!!! I also noticed a problem with these magazines...seems like the rounds creep forward and nosedive...do you think this could lead to a FTE FTE issue? Keep up the great work!!

Problem is that the Russians did not replace the original parts which are not interchangeable. As a result to engage the safety, the hammer must be pulled back all the way. Do you have an idea of how to fix this? Thanks
Sometimes they can be pretty tight. Use a brass punch so you don't damage it. Go from right to left if looking at the slide form the back. You can try soaking it with good penetrating oil, or using heat to break whatever grease or grime seal that may be holding it in place. Mine was also very tight the first time I was removing it.
MosinVirus I soaked it in wd40 for 2 days and liquid wrench even nail polish remover cause I thought it was super glued on its Ok tho cause it's an old gun and I'm re bluing it anyway I been hammering it the way you said it budge half a millimeter the shit is so hard to get out I don't have brass punches maybe I should get some I don't really care if it messes up the sight that much it's an old gun. I heated it up under torch and candle tried to pound it off still will not come off idk what to do maybe boil it and try.
+Chris Sharp I just found this as well. Should help. I didn't look though it but it is from Star. star-firearms.com/firearms/manuals/downloads/super_disassembly.pdf
When you pull the trigger, the hammer clicks back on the user's thumb! which people calls it"Hammer Bite". Its only on the Star model B, the other casual 1911 are straight.
+indskab Oh, I know what hammer bite is, just wasn't sure what the question was. In order to prevent hammer bite on this pistol, and it does bite, the hammer would need to be bobbed, so the webbing of the hand would not get between the frame and hammer pad.

Uncle Ron
I don't think you can just remove the hammer and spring.
Very good video on Star Model B. I would like to see a similar disassembly/reassembly video on Star Firestar M43 .
Thank you. If I had one I could make a set of videos for it.
Thank you for watching. Glad you found the problem. Interesting how you ended up with a largo barrel.
Kryptonicrxn mine has fail to eject problems on my first range outing. Trying to fix it. Any way to figure if I have a largo barrel ?
joe smith Take out the barrel (disarm), insert a round in the chamber and see if it seats deeper than normal.
Kryptonicrxn ok cool. Will do Thanks
I lost my takedown lever! Does anyone have one?

This was the closest video I could find for how to remove the extractor for my Firestar. It looks easy with a brass punch. I can't get the thing to budge with a steel punch and upped from small hammer to small ball peen.
Did it come out?
@@MosinVirus
Not yet🤯.

@@MosinVirus
I'm happy to say the pin has been out and back in now a few times for fitting and spring adjustment. Turns out, I wad driving the pin punch into the peen mark and not the pin. I decided to drive the pin a little deeper to see if it would move. When I saw it poking out slightly, the light went on.
Got that done last night a took it to the range today.
It's good to have my Firestar back.

Could you file the mainspring housing area down, to get it as flat as a 1911 flat mainspring housing, or does the spring sit inside the hump?
It is possible to flatten if I remember correctly. Visually inspect the spring channel just to make sure though.
@@MosinVirus Thanks!
I don’t have it yet but I really like the slightly narrower dimensions on the model B, compared to the 1911.

Right. Ok thanks buddy.
At 22:18 where the thumb safety engages in the slide. Looks almost like a small chunk is missing on the slide v groove is this normal? My buddy has one and his looks almost like a crack but its not. They grind the v groove so deep that it hits rail slot.
It is just cut that way. Perfectly normal

I haven't considered making comparison videos because I believe they would be too subjective.
true on the subjectivity.
That is good to know. thank you.
+bilzplace OOPS! Let me correct a mistake. I used 9mm Carcano where I should have been saying 9mm Largo.
+bilzplace I figured.
Saving this in case the bm is similar. I plan on refinishing one with new bluing and then polishing another.
Should work. Good luck with your projects.
How did you remove the magazine release on yours? I cannot get mine out.
There's a ball bearing beneath the sight. Loosen the sight screws and everything will drop out.
Thank you.
I have a Star Super B 9mm that is pretty much a toy now as the extractor is damaged and I CANNOT get the extractor retaining pin in the slide to even budge a millimeter. Tried every punch known to man, soaking it in solvent, etc. Will not budge. Any ideas?
Could be rusted in? It is not a tapered or headed pin, so it should come out. Take it to a smith maybe?
I think it might be pinned somehow (i heard that happens). Prolly not worth the cost.
@@stonefree1911 Yes, some pins are simply horrible to take out.
If you absolutely want to try and do it yourself you could try drilling it out.

Make sure you go right to left with the rear sight. Is it staked by any chance?
I don't see anything different from your rear sight other than mine has a painted (very faded) dot recess to help aim. It's very possible no one has ever removed this bit before from this gun. Edit: No it is not staked.

Aztlan909 Interesting. How is it different?

Hello...Star B's like mine have FTE problems....what is the problem?? Is it the extractor?? Any help is appreciated!!!
extract or eject?
+MosinVirus Fail to Eject....my Star B fires one then the casing is stuck in the barrel...I hear this is a common problem....any ideas???? thanks!!!
+SVT40guido no the rounds creeping forward and nose diving could produce failures to feed. in which case I would recommend a new spring for the mags.

@@Jojo69869 those floor plates are probably welded or soldered to the body. The magazine is disassembled the same way the 1911 flat floor plate mags are disassembled.
Great video! I recently purchase the Model B.08 - the one sold to the Germans and captured by the Russians. Problem is that the Russians did not replace the original parts which are not interchangeable. As a result to engage the safety, the hammer must be pulled back all the way. Do you have an idea of how to fix this? Thanks
+Tom Messier TomM Sorry, not sure.
I can't get the rear sight off any ideas?
Where can I find the link I have one but on my gun it's broken where can I buy it?
Try Numrich gun parts.
The bins can’t moved , what’s the problem?
Sorry, not sure what you mean

Posible dame los mapas sobre cómo fabricar una pistola de la estrella Modelo B y medidas de las piezas internas Ktheloj
Lo siento, cartografiarlo sería imposible ya que ya no tengo la pistola.
How much different is a Super B to detail strip?
+Chris Sharp slightly different.
Thanks. I'm going to give it a try.
+Chris Sharp I just found this as well. Should help. I didn't look though it but it is from Star. star-firearms.com/firearms/manuals/downloads/super_disassembly.pdf
Which country production is that?
Spain
What about the so-called "hammer bite" issue?
what do you mean?
When you pull the trigger, the hammer clicks back on the user's thumb! which people calls it"Hammer Bite". Its only on the Star model B, the other casual 1911 are straight.
+indskab Oh, I know what hammer bite is, just wasn't sure what the question was. In order to prevent hammer bite on this pistol, and it does bite, the hammer would need to be bobbed, so the webbing of the hand would not get between the frame and hammer pad.
