- The Commission on Elections has submitted a copy of the certificate of candidacy of Bamban Mayor Alice Guo to the Senate panel on women chaired by Sen. Risa Hontiveros as part of an ongoing investigation into Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs).

This is what NBI should do:
Get her fingerprints, facial recognition features, details of her direct family members, history of abode and movements, social media, bank account transactions, and relation to other entities. Then submit those information to the existing databases for scanning; locally and internationally.
Secondly, she should expelled from public office, declare her elected position as null and void, for tampering/falsification of public records, among others. Effing do it NBI!

According to her speech, Guo is a Mayor of Bamban, Tarlac which is a strategic area close to Clark Air Base in Pampanga. Fyi, here in the USA, China has been buying land properties close to US Military Bases. The same stealthy scenario of massive Chinese students at Cagayan where the Governor is a Pro China, and China's disinformation in trying to remove the strategic military outpost of Sierra Madre ship in WPS. Based on PRESIDENTIAL DECREE 1602, under Section 5, Mayor Guo should be disqualified indifinitely in Government Service based on her business connection with POGO gambling and scammers.
It's time to implement mandatory background checks for the candidates.

First of all the comelec should be abolish. Just look at the Bamban Tarlac mayor who turn out to be Chinese nationals. Second change the system. The Philippines already have the most liberal law when it comes to foreign investment. There is no need for constitution change. The problem is the bureaucracy which is the system of administration marked by officialism, red tape, and proliferation. Then the most important part is to ban politicians who have committed plundering from running AGAIN in the seat of government position.

E kc pag nag file ka ng petitions sa comelec aabitin ng napakatagal bago desisyunan ng comelec lalo na kung wala kang malakas na kakilala sa comelec. Madalas ilang araw na lang ang natitira sa term saka lalabas ang desisyon kaya nadi discourage mag file ng complaints o petitions sa comelec. Sana under chairman Garcia mabago na yan. I remember the news before when Sen Poe took a position in government during 2010 she renounced her American citizenship and reacquired her Filipino citizenship. Dapat ciguro may specific rules na yung comelec.
