      the SRF3 seems harder to get parts for in the USA.

    Can the cone wrench be substituted for a second adjustable wrench acting on the axle?

    the drive ring finally came off on my 10 year old hub .....the aluminium shell and ring treads were probably bound by galvanic corrosion

      Without the actuator the hub will jam in high gear

      there is or was a BWR (brompton) 2 speed driver that can swap with this hubs driver.

    There really is no reason to remove the sprocket from the driver.

      I agree but I want to show everything apart.

      Sure there is. If you don’t this tells me you are not cleaning the hub

    The part you call the "indicator chain" is NOT an "indicator" of anything. It is PROPERLY called the TOGGLE chain, because it is used to "toggle" between the different ratios of the hub.

      @thatbmxguy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shifting rod chain to cable connecter to shifter. Or a acronym of SRCCS could be a better identity. Toggle seems to electrical

    The owner should be told off. That poor hub has not been oiled!!

      @thatbmxguy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 00 grease may as well be Phil Tenacious oil. I found out later it was leaking out the low gear ball ring just as much as the 10w30.
